Beardog: My cat is picky about his water and likes to drink from faucets or other sources of running water. He definitely drinks more with this device than with a water bowl. It’s not too big, but it does make a constant whirring sound which I don’t like, thus the 1 star deduction. My cat was dehydrated though and this got him to drink more!

Amazon Customer: I've has this thing for about a year and it's still running just fine. we have a lot of minerals in our water so it does need cleaning once a month but it's easy to clean and as long as you keep the water filled it's fairly quiet.

Jan A the CPA: I'm not sure yet if my cat loves or hates this - at the moment he seems mostly bemused by it. I did catch him drinking out of it one time. In any case I've had it for a few weeks and I took it apart to empty and clean it for the second time after the initial setup - but when I put it all back together with fresh water and plugged it in, the pump made a worrying noise and was not pumping any water. So I unplugged it, took the top pieces off and pulled the pump out to look at it closely, and I noticed this little slider with a plus on one side and a minus on the other and it was pushed all the way to the minus side, which could easily have happened when I was cleaning it with a cloth. So I pushed the slider all the way to the plus side, put everything back together again, plugged it in and voila! Not only does the pump work fine, it works better than it did before, AND it was quieter. Who knew? I certainly did not, so I looked at the instruction booklet again, and there was NOTHING about this slider. So, if you think your pump isn't working, look for the magic little slider and make sure it's all the way on the plus side. I have no idea why it even exists.

Ben Smith: As I said, the cat loves this and appears to drink way more water than before. It can get noisier when getting below about half full, blessing and a curse as it's annoying enough to make me fill it back up! Probably works in favour of the cat 🐈

Un peu moins pratique que l'ancienne qui avait juste un genre de petit tuyau.
Le chat un peu perturbé au début mais habitué.
Un peu bruyante quand le niveau d'eau commence à être bas.
Mais cela permets de savoir qu'il faut remettre de l'eau

Facile da pulire rispetto al prodotto da me precedentemente acquistato soprattutto perché non ci sono pezzi e pezzettini da lavare dove può insinuarsi eventualmente dello sporco difficile da rimuovere. Materiali ottimi, lisci e resistenti.

Jheila IravaniJheila Iravani: I’ve used a lot of water fountains for our cats. I used a knock off brand, two harmony brand, and Catit is the most recent brand I’ve used and I’m sticking with it.
The most important reason why is because of cleaning. Harmony was a great design with easy filters to use, but it had all sorts of edges and corners that were impossible to clean regularly and time efficiently. I would have to get a q-tip to clean them, and the corners and edges got dirty faster than any part of the fountain due to the water flow being disrupted there.
The knock off brand had a circular filter like Catit has, but it was only carbon filtering, and for some reason the makers decided to put edges inside of the water reservoir for no reason, leading to the same cleaning annoyance.
Catit has no edges that build up gunk inside of the reservoir, everything is a smooth curve, meaning a sponge or towel can easily wipe away everything. I also like how the filter is structured, you can actually see the filter underneath the cover since it doesn’t cover it completely. Después de leer buenas opiniones tanto en Amazon como en Zooplus, lo adquirí hace unos 4 meses por este medio para que mi gata bebiera más, porque estaba más aficionada al grifo del lavabo que a su propio cuenco, que lavábamos cada 3/4 días por cierto. También era un problema cada vez que necesitábamos hace un viaje de una semana o más, porque había que llenarle 3 tuppers más con agua para que la pobre no se quedara sin agua durante nuestra ausencia.

Al llegar el paquete y montarlo todo fue de maravilla. Mi gata le encantó desde el primer día y abandonó al grifo del lavabo para acostumbrarse a su nueva compañera. Justo dos días después nos fuimos de viaje 8 días y estuvimos muy tranquilos porque nuestra gata bebió mucha agua.
Pero a las dos semanas empezaron a venir los problemas.

Pasadas estas dos semanas, tocaba limpiarlo y percibí que el agua se ponía muy viscosa.
También le cambié el filtro por si acaso, aunque leí que con cambiarlo cada 4 semanas era más que suficiente.
Lo fregué todo a fondo, volví a ponerle su filtro nuevo y lo llené de agua.
