Catch Hair in the Tub with TubShroom Tub Drain Hair Catcher in Black Chrome

Elisheva Swartz: We need med to replace a very old drain and this works nicely. It blocks hair etc well and fits in our drain, with a cap that looks natural enough. It is a bit confusing getting it to the right angle that allows water to drain at a normal speed, because leaving it down stops the water somewhat, but the device needs to be inside to prevent hair from getting down.

Sue: I have used this style of hair catcher for years. So easy, pop in, pop out. I use a tissue and remove the caught hair and gunk and never have to touch the drain directly. I tried other styles in the past and came back to this one because it's not complicated.

Spunky: This collects hair, so your drains don’t get clogged. It works really well coming from a household of men and women that have really long hair. You do have to check on it and clean it out periodically. I have checked on it after one or two weeks. If it is jammed with hair, water will build up in the bathtub. Then you know you have to clean it.

$am n €had$am n €had: I'd purchased a tub shroom in the past but it didn't fit our drain. Our new tub has been backing up and not draining for a while so I decided to try again. The amount of hair and soap and stuff this thing catches every shower is amazing. This is after 2 days! It's amazing what's been going down the drain. No wonder it was always clogged.

Evelyn: Fits my tub perfectly. I have an X bar 3/4" down my drain but the Tub Shroom sits right on it without issue. The hair comes off as easily as they say. The chrome blends in with my fixtures too. Love it.

Carmen: They kinda pop out a bit when new. But after about one week use, they stay in place better. Easy to clean and great at catching our hair but also keeping the drain clear and flowing.

Christopher M.: This my 4th or 5th TubShroom. the other ones just became too gross with what looks like black mould that wouldn't clean off.
It's a little piece of flexible plastic is a good design that fits pretty well in my tub drain and stops a lot of hair -- greatly reducing the amount of times I have to plunge or use drain clearing chemicals.
However, I paid over $20 for this latest replacement and am seeing it advertised for prices now in the $30s. To me this is too much $ for something so simple and basic.
