Used as a backup power source for Verizon landline phone service to keep the Optical Network Terminal device working during power failures. Cannot comment on longevity until the battery dies. Ease of installation, other than the fact it is the correct physical dimension and has the proper connectors has nothing to do with the battery, it is a function of the device the battery is to be installed in.

As you can see in the picture one of the batteries connectors are bigger than the other. They are the same battery and the new one is larger and wouldn’t fit cords to connect. Company agreed to return but refuses to pay for shipping which cost just as much as the battery did.
