Brandon Romeo: I bought these for a back country Idaho elk hunt. I only bought them bc my companions said I needed them. I was skeptical. After the first hike out, in snow and STEEP hills, I instantly became a believer. I started hiking w out these and I was falling all over the place. Once I got these out I was immediately more stable. I will probably always bring these out w me in the future -snow or not. They are compact when not using & seemed to hold up as well as I suspect.

Susan Sneed: My mother in law is 83 years old and has problems with her knees. She was an avid walker and it became harder for her to walk due to her knees and her balance. After a trip to France, I noticed so many older people walking with poles, so I thought it would help her. She was unsure at first, but she figured out how to use them, she got her stride and loves them. She said the best thing about them is that she can stand up straight when walking. She hates the idea of a cane that makes you stoop over. She really enjoys the cork handles also. These poles have really helped her be able to continue walking safely and others in her senior neighborhood all all talking about getting the same.

Dan: I bought a pair of twist lock rubber grip poles initially, then just recently bought these, wow, live and learn, these poles are really excellent.
Love the almost seemless transition from cork to foam on the handles, makes taking a lower down grip really easy when going up something steep.
Flip locks have been great, only thing is that the tightening dial for the flip locks become quite loose when you unflip the locks, so sometimes also need an adjustment. But that's a very minor inconvenience for the help these things give.

Well happy with these and wouldn't hesitate to buy again or recommend to anyone.

Jason: These trekking poles are amazing! I’ve been hiking for 30+ years and never owned any. (I always thought they were just for old people.) I just got these for a three day elk hunt in the Rocky Mountains and they were incredible! They gave me extra traction on the steep shale faces, gave me support on the steep declines, and gave me leverage on the steep uphill climbs. I’ll never go hiking without them again. Plus - it is a great value for the price! My hunting companion had a set of carbon fiber poles that he paid over $150 for and mine were every bit as good as his. Great quality, great price, and speedy delivery. I would definitely buy these again, but I doubt I’ll have to. I gave them a beating on this trip and they held up like champs. I doubt I’ll be able to wear these out.

fraulibra: Having previously borrowed trekking poles from a friend, I knew that these would be very helpful on the trails I was planning to hike. But I pulled them out of the package and went to use them right away without reading instructions. Well, they kept collapsing on me. What I needed to do was tighten the nuts on the clips so that the clips would hold and keep the telescoped poles from collapsing. I struggled on the trail until I pulled out my car key and used the tip as a screwdriver to tighten the nuts. One good tightening and I was good for the rest of the trip. Moral of the story: read directions! But in all seriousness, I had to rely heavily on these poles and they served me very well on the trail. They gave me added strength and stability going up and down over rocks, boulders, stairs, and inclines. The poles are lightweight, easy to use, and they come in a travel pouch with all of the extra tips. Trekking poles are a great tool that will enhance your hiking experience, and this is a quality set at a very good price.

Angel VadilloAngel Vadillo: Empezaré diciendo que me gusta el senderismo como pasatiempo digamos que mi opinión no es de un usuario super pro de hecho son mi primer par de bastones de trekking, los probé en la ruta extrema de ciudad vieja al volcán de agua en Guatemala, me super ayudaron, los sentí cómodos, de lo único que me arrepiento es de no haber comprado la versión de fibra de carbono, una vez ajustados nunca se movieron, es una ruta muy difícil y honestamente me dejaron encantados, sin duda los recomiendo valen su precio, más si los agarras en oferta.
