miss K. Rogers: I am one of those peole who loves the books but hates this film version. If your like me don't let that stop you getting the soundtrack. 10 times better than the film this has some of my favourite artists and introduced me to some new artists I now enjoy listening to

Carmen: Lo compré porque me gustaron algunas canciones de la película. No recomiendo, aunque algunos de los grupos que incluye el cd no me gusten mucho.

E. OMalley: I've never followed alt rock so I was pretty much unfamiliar with most of the artists on this soundtrack other than Linkin Park (heard of, but never listened to). I've found I really enjoy most of these songs. I'm not fond of either Paramour song - the melodies are fine, but I just find the singer's voice annoying. I also tend to skip the Perry Farrell song "Go All The Way"; it's ok, but there's nothing compelling about it.

I think the rest of the soundtrack is wonderful, however. I've heard "Leave Out All The Rest" is a bit of a departure for Linkin Park, and if this is true I'm not sure how I'd like their other stuff. But this particular song is great. "Full Moon," "Spotlight," "Tremble For My Beloved" and "Eyes On Fire" are great to hear in their entirety - in the movie the last two are given very short shrift. My two absolute favorites, though, are "Supermassive Black Hole" and "Flightless Bird, American Mouth." I downloaded these songs as singles long before purchasing the whole album, and have since purchased all of Muse's albums (haven't done that with Iron & Wine, though).

Unlike some reviewers, I neither absolutely love nor absolutely hate Rob...

BookGirl808: With any good film, the music featured on it can evoke memories; of your favourite scenes or characters in the film. Twilight is no exception, key moments of the film come flooding back, making you want to watch it again and again. The soundtrack not only brings back memories of the film, but also evokes the moods and feelings of the book, making it even more poignant. Songs can really bring out the emotion and feelings of a scene and these songs are so wonderful, they do an excellent job.

The music on this soundtrack is a great mix of alternative, rock and pop. If you have seen the film, you might agree that the music captures the film perfectly. Although the whole album is great and a pleasure to listen to, particular stand out tracks include 'Supermassive black hole', by Muse, 'Flightless bird, American mouth' by Iron and Wine, as well as the two excellent tracks from rockers, Paramore. The song 'Full Moon' is also really good.

Overall, this album really delivers. The songs are edgy, catchy and an wonderful reminder of how great this film is. Every track fits perfectly and seems to epitomise the feelings and moments of the film - from Edward and Bella's passionate...

Steven Haarala: In my wildest dreams, never could I have predicted that one day I would be writing 2 CD reviews in a row that relate to vampires. Yet, here is #2. Vampires are everywhere nowadays. In the media, that's what I mean (don't I???) In any case, the idea of vampires has assumed some importance in my life lately, but I'm not sure why. Well, back to the matter at hand. I've read the book, and now I've heard the soundtrack. It is, as Brit Rob Pattinson might say, "a bit of alright".

Half the tracks have a techno-pop-rock sound, with varying themes mostly dark, mysterious and/or passionate. One of these is probably my favorite track, Perry Farrell's "Go All the Way Into the Twilight", which includes a rap by a girl who repeats, leaving no room for doubt, "...so take me, take me, take me!!" Paramore's "Decode" has the unforgettable line, "...the truth is hiding in your eyes, and it's hanging on your tongue, just pouring in my blood." The same band's "I Caught Myself" says it in a different way: "You got it, you got it, some kind of magic/Hypnotic, hypnotic, you're leaving me breathless." Whew! Linkin Park contributes a rock ballad concerning the singer's worries about how he will be...
