Sharon M Farmer: Nothing fancy but does its job well. Solid and Dependable. I had one previously that I loaned out and never received it back. I investigated many others, but there is nothing like this. Simple and straightforward, no gimmicks. Made in the USA. I keep it charged and in the car. When it is needed, it is worth its weight in gold. Read the manual. Be sure to recharge if there is a yellow light. If you somehow damage the battery and it is not able to recharge, the battery is replaceable. I had my previous one for many years with no issues - you just must read and follow the instructions in the manual. I mainly use this for the family vehicle, although it has been used for motorcycle, ATV, and wheelbarrow tires.

Ron W.: I had been buying this exact compressor for years and years, but refused to purchase another since 2021. It’s been some time since my last purchase, but still felt the need to share my experience.
I’ve been a wheelchair user for nearly 40 years and I’ve been buying this exact model for a very long time without any incidents. However, I bought this exact item 3 times in 2021 to replace one that I had for many successful years. All 3 had to be returned because NONE of them would either charge or hold a charge.
I don’t know what’s happened to the quality control at Campbell Hausfeld, but Amazon kept telling me to keep the defective compressors and they would just send me a new one. After the 3rd straight defective compressor, I decided that I had heard enough so I decided to request a refund and have completely given up on C-H to produce a quality product ever since.
I’m disappointed to say the least after so many years of dependable service from this compressor company. When I do a search for this model it doesn’t come up. But, when I looked at “My Orders” from 2021, it is shown. I think it’s been discontinued. Don’t waste your time...

Kenneth G. Eskildsen: I had one of these for 20 years and it worked great. At the end it couldn't reach the high pressure for my bike tires. I bought a replacement - it arrived with a low battery. Battery remained low even after charging it for a week. When I tried to inflate my bike tire the fuse gave a bright flash of light; now it no longer works. I tried to return it but Amazon will not accept a return of this item.

D&C: Bought a replacement for the same model. New one has no battery life and its power to inflate is poor.
Wish I had used it earlier so I could send it back and get my money back.
Very disappointed.

Gregory O. DavisGregory O. Davis: This is an amazing product !! I bought one about 25-30 years ago and it has worked ever since. Still charging with the same (rechargeable) battery all these years! Think I read one of the mottos of this company (Campbell Hausfeld) is that their compressors are 'built to last.' They're not kidding! This little workhorse has kept air in our cars, bikes and motorcycle tires, basketballs, recreational equipment and never failed, not once. Regardless of cold or very hot weather, it kept running without fail, holding a charge for a long period of time, even after long usage. I accidentally dropped it twice in the last year and cracked the outer case. The old one, even with a cracked case in several places still works fine. I was pleasantly surprised to see the exact model advertised and available on Amazon so I quickly ordered another. The new one should take me through the rest of my life and I'll pass along the old one to one of my sons or friends. You can't go wrong with this buy. It's absolutely the best!

Gatemtl: When I received the compressor the batterie was dead and it was not possible to recharge it. The seller did not want to take it back because I passed the 30 days of their return policy (it was 35 days!). I find this disgusting since this is a product of over 110$.

Southern Belle: This is my second Campbell Hausfeld portable inflator. After my first one lasted for years and years, finally it wouldn't hold a charge so It was necessary to replace it. Unfortunately I purchased another look-alike inflator which was a mistake. While both were kept in similar conditions (generally in my car for use on auto tires), the replacement lasted only a couple of years before the hose cracked, and unfortunately, it was not replaceable. Guess which one I bought then?? Of course, the Campbell Hausfeld!

It really feels like a substantial little machine for the money spent. If it lasts nearly as long as the first one did, it's well worth every penny. My work requires travel by car during all sorts of odd hours. Knowing I can handle a tire with low air at 4AM in rural Georgia is great peace of mind. I like having both a charger for the car as well as DC home charger. It's also helped me with inflating tires on lawn tractor, aerator, wheelbarrow, and bicycle. Useful!
