I smoke cheese on my 22" Weber kettle using a smoking tray. These chips, actually saw dust, work great. They burn at a great pace and the flavor of the cheese could not be more addictive. We used for moz, fresh moz, medium cheddar, Muenster, and pepper jack. The latter 2 were our favorites. Fresh moz was a close second.

I’ve purchased this and other flavors of this product for cold smoking sausages. They are fantastic and burn thoroughly all the way to the end. I use it in a circular cold smoke generator. It does take a bit for the sawdust to catch AND maintain its burn, but once it does, it’s all good. This is my go to cold smoking product!!

most wood chips are quite large and don't work as well in my electric smoker.
this shredded cherry word works wonderfully in it! Awesome flavor.
No unburnt wood! unlike the larger chips I used to get.
