ShadowShadow: I purchased this when I saw an online chef using this brand. I have hated waffle makers in the past because they just don’t work. The waffle makers that flip the waffles break after one year, and we don’t have waffles that often. I love this one, you don’t add oil to the grids, and they slip right out! This is a photo of a basic buttermilk Belgian waffle recipe set right in the middle of the deal.
I do wish the electrical cord was longer, at 31 1/2 inches to the tip of the plug, you have to be able to plug it in close to where you were going to be using it.

Amazon Customer: It looks great and ALL the things it is supposed to do it does really well. The plates stay clean. The timer and cook time setting function, including a countdown readout are clear and accurate. The waffles have deep indents which hold a lot of fruit and sauce

AlinVAlinV: Easy to setup, makes Belgian waffles like a champion. Paid a bit more than what I feel it is worth, but comes with a 3 year warranty. So far so good, loving it.

PandaWatcherPandaWatcher: I was very excited to received this BF deal. As soon as I opened it I wiped it with a sponge and dried it with a paper towel. Next I made a small batch of pancake batter to test the heating elements. The batter spread nicely and I drizzled some turbinado sugar on top to test the non-stick ceramic coating. It came out beautiful with both sides showing even browning on the middle setting after 3 minutes. I thought I had found my waffle iron!
After it cooled, I wiped it down with a sponge and then ran a paper towel through the grooves. I was dismayed to find small black dots on the paper towel. Upon inspection I found a chip on the lower grate. I only used wood chopsticks to pick up the waffles. Unfortunately there are other reviews that mention this issue as well. My Presto Flip was ceramic and I never noticed any chipping after multiple uses.

Otherwise the unit looks great and operates well. The top does get very hot during use. Also some steam does escape at the handle so be careful opening it. If it hadn’t been for the chipping, I would have kept this. Back on the search for a waffle iron with heat control.

Jon R.: Unfortunately this waffle maker completely overcooks on the bottom and undercooks on the top. I've tried a few batches at different temperature settings and the results have been the same. Very disappointing for such an expensive machine. Perhaps it's a defective unit.
