Kelli: On air vents im used to louvers opening and closing depending on if the fan is running. This one does not. It is static. My fault for reading into the description something that wasn't there. Otherwise decent little vent so far.

Nichole Panagiotou: This is a German company that makes excellent parts. I received a cheap soffit vent (could not go on the wall) made so poorly if was like it was made of tin foil. I actually contacted the German company directly (with google translate). This is not their product at all. The cheap part sent to me was made in China. I have returned it. Cannot comment on durability or ease of install because I am not keeping. I wish I could figure out how to load the picture here. It would be comical for you all to see side by side. I gave one star for Amazon. The delivery came as expected.

Randy Jerse: Item is not like picture. Mounting holes on front of item so they are visible. Vents are smaller. Seems really cheap. Have not installed yet.
