Asterbell: A must read series! I will miss reading about Tessa and Tristan but my heart is happy knowing that all ends good and how it should have been. Thank you for such an amazing series. Onto the next book!

Shelpooh65: This ending is complete and beautifully handled. The old magic is done and needs removed from the world, but Tessa and Tristan cannot be lost. Fenrir and Cerebus need to be defeated and Tessa must find a way to make it happen. The ending of this story is very nicely orchestrated.

K: I have felt the rollercoaster of emotions since book one and the story for Tessa and Tristan finished beautifully, though can't wait to hear more about them in Iyana's book next. From shifters to Fae, old magic and assassin's it has all the fantasy you can ask for, but the depth of emotion in the story is the real kicker for me and what made it so amazing. The strength of family and pack, not tied together by blood, and learning to feel worthy of love. So beautiful - alongside the slaying of evil, haha.

Real Reviews: This is the 3rd series I’ve read by this author and I like her writing but her over use of the “ martyr” theme in all the series is getting trite. I thought this one might be different because at one point the character says her life is as valuable as others in the pack. But right after that and for the rest of the series she continually says thing like “I was born alone and I’ll die alone” and all her actions are to “ save” everyone at her expense even when it’s not needed. It wouldn’t be so bothersome if this was the only series with that theme but it’s all that I’ve read so far and it makes the FMCs blend into one persona. It also makes for an extremely sappy story with the “ my only reason for living is to be able to die for you” interactions between her and the MMC (and lots of tears slipping by the FMC). So it seems women either have to be saved by the hero or die for the hero. Aren’t there any other options? I read fantasy books to get away from RL and women always putting their needs last and sacrificing for everyone else is too much like RL.

Jen: Tessa
This is her story, we follow her on her journey from being the outcast, the abomination, the freak, the unwanted.
Her pack in book 1 makes her feel and treated like that, by book 3 she has her own made up pack, a family.
This series is all kinds of fun, hot, emotional, action packed, unique with so much that will shock you and have you surprised.
It’s everything you want in a shifter story and more. The fight this girl has to go through, prove she’s more than what she was destined for, the love and devotion and the risks she does for Tristan. It’s powerful and is written so well.
Fantastic series, absolutely incredible.
It’s a huge must read from me 😃

Priyanka: This was my favourite book in this series.
It contained a lot of acceptance, fierceness, courage, fight, determination and above all Love. It was really a great ending :)

Jz: Everly Frost has done it again and written another brilliant series. This final book of the series kept me gripped till the very end. It was exciting, it was full of twists & turns, it was nerve wracking and it was brilliant. The world and character building has been strong from the beginning of the series and it's stayed that way through to the very end.
A fantastic end to what has been a brilliant series to read. Five stars.

Courtney: This book-hangover was a doozy! Brava Everly Frost! It's taken me days to find the words to describe how much I enjoyed this series, particularly this book. The finale comes together in a fabulous mix of action, romance, magic, heartbreak, friendship, tears, battle, rescues, and so much more.

Beginning right where book two left readers hanging, book three immediately pulled me back into the story. The pacing is fast, in a way that is appropriate to all the pieces falling into place. This Caged Wolf pulls together the action and characters from book one and the emotion of book two in a seamless blend that leads to a satisfying end to Tessa's journey. And keep the tissues handy!

I enjoy Frost's writing style and the editing was well-done. For those who missed the variety of supporting characters in book two, you will be happy to know they have a much larger role in book three. Additionally, fans of Frost will recognize cameos and cross-overs from many of the author's other series. This series can be read without reading those, but it's a fun tie-in and will give readers new to the author even more books to read.

Paro: A truly terrific conclusion to the series. I love everything about the book. There is action, romance, there is a kick-ass heroine who doesn't wait for the hero to help her. She has a kick-ass group of her friends to support her, enough twists and turns to keep you breathless, suspense that makes you bite your nails and an ending which ties it all up rather brilliantly. What I really loved the best about this book is the progression and growth of characters. It was amazing to see them overcoming their circumstances and resolving the issues.

Tessa broke my heart at times, but I felt happy with her resilient spirit. Her journey was perhaps the hardest and it has been a treat to read. This book is definitely a dark read, but I loved that the author found the right balance needed for the story without compromising anything.

Tristan has been nothing short of amazing. I saw a lot of growth in his character too. I loved that they both helped each other come out of the dark place they were in. Sapphire: What an amazing ending to this series. The Bright Ones is still my favorite series but this was a good read.

One of the things that I like about Everly’s books is the partnership she creates between the main couples of the story. Honestly, I did not really feel that in this book. I would have loved to see more of Tristan in the series as a whole, however, I can kind of tell that Everly was trying to create an independent and strong heroine who is not defined by anyone else. I like how Tessa grows to be a leader in her own right and fierce in her love for others.

Overall, it was a beautiful story and a great ending to fit with that though I do know that Iyana’s story is up next. I also did not see Cody and Danika becoming a thing at all. I’m pretty much neutral about that but I’m sure they’ll be a good pair.

Great work Everly! This may not have been my favorite series but I still enjoyed it. Was definitely a worthy wait and good break from work.
