Loreki: These brake pads stop my bicycle, and do so without squealing. They do not have as much stopping power as Kool-Stop dual-compound brake pads, but are far, far cheaper.
These are installed on a hard tail mountain bike having a steel frame and 26" aluminum wheels.

Thomas Hall: securing hex nuts require a 5mm allen wrench. The parts were sent with a 6 mm allen wrench. Luckily I have my own tools.

Florida Kathy: Imagine your brakes right now, they probably feel like you're sliding along a beach, bumpy, sandy, awful.
These pads feel like a waterslide. Smooth, predictable, quiet. Like a silicone glove is pinching your rim.
Used on a class 3 ebike regularly slowing down from 25mph, no major wear after a few months of few times a week riding.

Dave: These after-market pads have more rubber and so wear longer than the stock Shimano pads.
However, I would never buy a bike with V-Brakes again because in general the pads wear very fast and I'm constantly having to adjust the brakes cables so that the brake levers don't bottom out on the handlebars.
One of Shimano's more crappy designs for sure.
