While the product is cute when making waffles you haveto hold up the lid and pour your batter at the same time and it is very hot. Also the wooden things are so small to turn waffles with.

The top that closes ..doesn’t stay up when you need to take waffle out.. I use tongs to keep it open and the other hand I use to take the waffle out of waffle iron. (Be careful not to burn fingers when holding the top part open) SENSOR is suppose to let you know when waffle is done.. first use and it was staying on a few waffles in and not turning on at all, basically no real indicator of when the waffle was actually done, common sense served me well though aha ! I am a fan of the fact that they do indeed make waffles lol however, my expectation would be that I wouldn’t have to hold the waffle iron open with one hand and the other to get waffle out.. feeling like I could burn myself😅 like this waffle maker had one job, that is to deliver like a waffle iron is suppose to! 🥲 I’ll end up getting another..just not from here..till then, I’m gonna continue to appreciate this inexpensive waffle maker. Oh and I’ve made little recipes with this thing, pizza with biscuit dough, red velvet cake etc 😋

I got this for making chaffles on keto. I'm very happy with how quickly it heats and that it is stick free. I use no oil whatsoever but even cheese won't stick. This does not have an off/on button though. It's activated when plugged in. Also, the top is quite heavy, making it fall sometimes when trying to remove the waffle. My grandson burnt his thumb because of that. Just beware of it. It's still a great little waffle iron.
