Jerry A Powers: I purchased this supplement to include in some pills for my granddaughter who suffers from plaque psoriasis. I recently read that fumaric acid is very effective against psoriasis. Additionally, with it being included with l-carnitine, with its know heart health benefits, I feel this is a powerful combination for her. Some clinical studies have found a link between heart disease and psoriasis. This product covers both areas. As has been said before, "what is inside our bodies appears outside our bodies." I hope to prevent any arterial plaque forming and provide a simple natural supplement that calms both conditions. After about two weeks of my granddaughter taking the supplements, her psoriasis appears to be calming - and this is during the winter when it is typically worse due to dry air and lack of sunshine. I believe the effects will be even more pronounced once she has taken the supplements for over 30 days.

LovestoCook: I've only been using this product for about a week, as part of an active B12/methylation protocol I've started. As such, I can't specify exact effects from this supplement (I add it to my electrolyte drink along with pico ionic magnesium, pico ionic minerals, ascorbic acid, sea salt and either cream of tartar or potassium bicarb, plus sweetener), but I do think it's helping to give me more energy to get through my night shifts. It's a very fine powder with a slightly tart flavor - that I don't notice since it's going in with 4 grams of vit C and lime juice :). I'm very happy to have it available as a pure powder so I can create my own dosages, as needed. One caveat - and I noticed others have commented on this - the dosage labeling on the package I received is *way* off! My package says that a 100 gram (by wt) package should give 200 doses of 500 mg L-Carnitine, and that 1 1/2 tsp equals 500 mg L-carnitine fumarate. That would equal to 1 Tbsp for every 1 gram of product, and supposedly a package volume of 100 Tbsp. I'm sorry, but this 100 gram package does not contain 6.25 cups of product! I went online to their website and found a much more accurate dosing...

Clinton Hollow: This is the only way to go. Bulksupplements are totally pure unlike pills that have fillers. I've bought a half dozen different items from this company and haven't had one complaint. It's also a very economical way to go. By the way, no one has twisted my arm or sent me any free products to write the above. I've got to run before I..... get emotional, bye! LOL

dk:
product is not labeled correctly on the serving sizes, the 250g bag said "As a dietary supplement, take 500 mg (1 1/2 tsp) twice daily, or as directed by a physician" on the US Standard Measuring Spoons it says 1 1/2 teaspoon is 500 milligrams
so you can imagine when we tried to cram 1 and 1/2 teaspoon into a 00 veggie cap.
so the next morning i looked back on Amazon and reviewed the product again and the correct label was on the package displayed on Amazon and it said the dosage is a little over an 1/8 of a teaspoon for 500 mg.
please get the label corrected.......kept me awake most of the night

Alex: I have been taking this with a few other heart-health supplements(vitamin E, Magnesium, CoQ10, and Citrulline), and have felt noticeable improvements since introducing Carnitine into the mix.
The taste is sour, and reminds me of the taste of sour patch kids, so you should probably mix it with citrus-flavored drinks/juices if you are looking to mask the flavor. I actually rather enjoy the taste though, so I just mix it with whatever drink I have on hand. It dissolves almost instantly, with little to no effort necessary beyond quickly swirling the glass around in my hand.
Good product, have repurchased, and will continue to do so going forward.
