MS: Does it work. Yes. Could it be better. Yes
Fits on easily enough and clamps hold in place. It slides so the description is slightly misleading. So you can slide the unit to shorten from 5 inches to 0 inches. You just have to trim the box with some tin snips so you don't need to rotate.

Because it slides, it doesn't produce the tightest seal. Need some metal tape or paste to seal it all up once you're happy with the fit.

The metal itself is super thin gauge. Super easy to bend and kink the metal if not careful. I expected a bit better for a sliding piece as I'm sure if you're not careful, it will pop apart.

Prime Customer: Good product for very tight space but you have to use foil tape to reseal the edges due to air leakage. Works great.

Rok ItRok It: I am SO HAPPY I got this. I used to have a piece of those aluminum hoses, taking a ton of space, and it would come off all the time. Since I got this, I haven’t had to re-adjust the piece and it takes a fraction of the space. It is one of the best useful purchases I made so far. The fact that you can change the distance (hight or left-right) of it, makes it useful for any dryer. I recommend it 200%.

Avid DIYer: It fit the small space and offset well. However, when joining to the 4" outdoor vent the outlet portion came out of the housing. It would be better if they left it so you could tab it on the inside which would make a much stronger joint. Secondly, don't tab the slide; leave the box so you can easily slide off one side to make installation easier. I ended up taking the box apart to be able to install it so it wouldn't come apart if you had to slide the dryer out of position.

MikeACY: The other reviews were correct. The product is not well made. The metal is very thin. This unit has two ports...one to install on the dryer vent and the other to install on the dryer output. The problem is the two ports on the unit are the same size as the dryer vent and the dryer output pipes (4 inches) Even the "crimped" port is not crimped enough to fit firmly inside the dryer vent pipe in my wall. I had to make 1 inch cuts in both ports to slide it over the dryer output vent and to insert it into the dryer vent. Then I used lots of metal tape to seal up the areas where the dryer air was leaking from. I got it to work, but it took a lot of time and frustration to get it done. All the manufacturer had to do was crimped the one port more and make the port that attaches to the dryer output a little larger. Then I would of had no problem. Not recommended.

P. Edwards: I had no problem installing this, though you need two people - one to push and one to guide the connection. This adjusts left and right, up and down so you can easily align it. Yes, it's flimsy but if you are careful aligning that is irrelevant. No issues tightening the clamps. When you are done you have your unit only a couple of inches from the wall and no worries about a long pinched hose or one that will gather dust in the kinks and start a fire.

Dean Ristani: I liked the solution for a very tight space between the dryer and the wall - saves significantly the wasted space in comparison with a flexible vent connection. I liked the 3-D space adjustment. I didn't like the quality and neatness of the workmanship. I hate the Phoenix Homes Builder in Ottawa and LG dryer manufacturer who don't give a thought on how the connection would be made without such a pain and primitive design for the customer and the user. Their design of the vent and the exhaustion is terrible for making effortlessly a tight connection between the wall and the dryer.

Steve & Julie: Worked fine for me. It's a bit of a pain to install, but that's more a function of the usage than the product itself. I have very little clearance between my dryer and the wall where the vent is located. Using a flexible tube was not a great option because I had to compact it so much. This product works well for tight spaces. My vent and dryer were only offset by about an inch, but this product was a much better fit, and more sturdy than compressing a standard vent tube into that small of a space.

TWO THINGS YOU'LL WANT FOR EASIER INSTALLATION:
- Thermal Foil Tape (available for $5-6 on Amazon
- An flexible bit extender for your drill or electric screwdriver - this will make it much easier to reach behind the dryer once it's in place to tighten the clamps.

As I said, installation was a bit annoying, but that's because I'm working in such a tight space. What I found worked best for me was measuring it as the directions indicated and then testing it loosely to make sure it fit. Once I had it to the right size, I trimmed the excess material, and then sealed the whole thing with THERMAL FOIL TAPE. {You will need to buy a role of this tape to make it airtight and...
