Brandon: Easy to install. Work as expected. Could use a slightly more sensitive handle as the nozzle sometimes just hits you with full blast no matter how hard you try to ease into it.

Muhammad Rahim: When I use it does leak a little near shower. I don’t know what can I do to fix it!
I wish I could return it to get the better shower but I miss the return window as I just installed now. Is there a way I can return for possibly a better piece??

Amazon Customer: I had some trouble getting it installed. It was more difficult unscrewing the parts from the toilet than I anticipated. The directions in the package were not very clear on how to do all this. There were pictures, but they were not pictures of the parts with which I was having trouble. After a couple of days, I finally got the hose unscrewed from the toilet tank. This part was the biggest job. It was screwed on pretty tight and was not budging. I'm no plumber and I wasn't 100% sure I was even doing the right thing as the directions weren't 100% clear to me. After persevering, I finally got the hose unscrewed and got the spa screwed on and it kept leaking. I couldn't figure out why I was having such a problem. I had to ask a friend for some help and we were able to figure out that the problem was with the parts inside the tank. It kept moving inside when I was trying to unscrew it and then again when screwing the spa onto it. Luckily I was able to figure it out after a couple of days and a friend's help. I definitely recommend having some help doing this. When I was under the toilet trying to unscrew it and screw it back on I couldn't see what was...

seamusfloyd: It works well enough, however it is inevitable that the hose is eventually going to have a blowout. I believe in the documentation Brondell states that the hose is not designed to be under constant pressure and provides a T-valve to prevent the hose from springing a leak. I believe they also disclaim any responsibility for leaks caused by not using the T-valve. I tried to be diligent - 9 times out of 10, I remembered to turn off the T-valve. But then, on one of the 1 times out of 10 that I forgot, I awoke to a flooded bathroom. It is inevitable, you are human and you will sometimes forget to turn off the T-valve... and one of the times will be one time too many.
I did what another post said to do, I bought a "metal shower hose" from a hardware store. It fits right on, although it's about 2x or 3x the length of the original hose. I suspect the shower hose is designed to withstand water pressure better as well, and so far, no leaks. I don't know why Brondell doesn't use a sturdier flexible hose with its product, since they appear to exist; avoiding all these negative reviews due to leaks would surely have been worth the slight added cost of having a sturdier...

Heather Huffman: So, I was spending time in southeast Asia a couple of months ago my first thought about the lack of toilet paper was stark horror. After a few days went by, I realized I rather like this thing. It does, in fact, feel good, but more importantly, I don't think I have ever been so clean and ALL the time. It's funny how views change. I now see TP as an archaic and unnecessary step that doesn't quite do the job it should. Some of you know exactly what I mean (knowing look).

As to the actual product performance, it is well made and the instructions provided make it very simple to install into your plumbing without much effort. My first use with it was a bit disconcerting since Asia doesn't have much in the way of water pressure. Thankfully, the fine thinkers at Brondell's R & D team figured out how to adjust the pressure. On the other hand, if you're also looking for a high colonic - it is made from stainless steel. Just sayin'

Carlos Berguido: Received this much faster than estimated from Tool King. Everything was provided in the package to hook this device up in a few minutes.

Each time before use, we move the sprayer to the sink while adjusting the water flow using the lever at the 3 way connector, then use the on/off button on the sprayer to shut it off until ready for use. After each use we shut off the lever at the 3 way connector and then release the pressurized water into the sink. Keeping the hose pressurized only as needed should make this device last a long time without any issues.

Everything fits and works smoothly. Not sure why others are using Teflon tape on the threads because all 3 connections use rubber gaskets/washers to make the seal. When installed correctly there never should be any water trying to migrate through the threaded areas because the threads are there just to apply pressure to the rubber to make the seal.

Tech Lady: I've seen similar devices while traveling in India - - a practical alternative for personal cleanliness. I've only had this for a week but I really like it. Installation was straightforward -- normally I would do it myself but I was having the toilet replaced so I asked the plumber to do it. It uses the same water that supplies your toilet so it's not warm water, but here in California the city water is not really cold so it's perfectly ok. Eat the wrong food, or overly spicy food, and you'll pay for this device in savings on toilet paper in no time at all. (smile) ...... update after one month ... be sure to use the quick acting valve to turn off pressure to the hand spray when not in use. I don't think it's designed to remain under pressure as I noticed a very slow leak if I forgot to turn off the valve. Still love it 100%.
