Nicholas A.: Workers threw away the old vent cover for my bathroom and I needed another. In spite of the existing box not being the same brand this says it is compatible with, it worked great. Measure the opening to make sure its roughly the same size required and, as long as you have the slot on each side for this thing's hooks to slide into, it mounts flush. Its inexpensive, looks good, and works in a variety of boxes. Doesn't do much of anything to quiet the fan down but does not rattle, so no complaints there. I'd buy this again.

Kentucky King: It’s exactly what it says on the listing. As long as this has the right spring spacing and overall size, this will work. I vacuum the fan covers in our main and master bathrooms every month or so, and every 3 months I pull them off and clean out the fan (I learned the hard way this kind of maintenance prolongs fan life and I hate going into the attic to change them). One of the slips broke in our old cover and this Broan cover was 1/3 what the big box store wanted for a knock-off cover—and this was in the height of the pandemic. So I could save 67%, get a better cover, and stay at home and let it come to me? Sold!

It fits great, looks great, and is solid. The only area I gave this less than 5-stars was noise level—which I rated 3 stars. This doesn’t reduce fan noise AT ALL compared to no cover, but it also doesn’t rattle or add any additional noise (which I’ve had cheap fan covers do before), so 3-stars seems fair. Overall this is a good value and a cheap fix to replace a broken or yellowed old fan cover (or one the painters “accidentally” painted over). :-)

Edwin: My old one was yellowed and looking grim. This replacement one is just a smidge smaller and is much flatter than the original ( the original is beveled, this one is flat). It’s an easy 2 minute swap job and just needs to be lined up carefully as it’s a tight replacement fit.
