Pat: Nice replacement for the original detector that passed its usefully lifespan. Compact, led readout, and simple wiring. Wire colors didn't match those in the rv, but I double checked everything with a multimeter before connecting and everything worked fine. Highly recommended for rv use.

Caroline: The installation was easy, I tested it by releasing propane from a propane torch and it alerted me. Provides another layer of protection. Read instructions placement is important.

P. R.. Fectionist: I wanted a LP detector with a digital display to see changes in gas concentration before an alarm occurs. I first bought the Funomo model because it was the only one on Amazon that came in black, surface mount, with an always-on display. It has a fixed alarm setpoint of 5.0% LEL which is fine and conservative. Got in two detectors and found both are slow to drift down to 0.0% LEL on power up, with one hanging at 0.5% LEL and not going to 0.0% LEL. Also noted the lowest LP sensitivity for both units is 0.5% LEL as it goes down from that value and directly to 0.0% LEL. One of the two units never read less than 0.5% LEL and was quickly replaced by the seller for free, so great customer support!! Tested using a butane lighter and worked great, but with a slow response. Once its 5.0% LEL is exceeded, the display reads "HI" and now cannot see a quantitative value that may be greater than 5.0% LEL. It's nice that the Funomo will mount without having to take apart its case to engage its mounting screws. But you have to either solder/shrink or use crimp connectors to make good power wire connections.
Then the Briidea brand appeared on Amazon and offered a user adjustable LP...

Jean D.: I received the detector and found it to be inoperable (defective). I contacted the seller and the item was replaced in less than 3 days. The replacement detector worked perfectly.
