Buddy Davis: 5 year old had a hard time putting it together, needed help.

10 & 11 year olds had no problem assembling them.

When we were done with them, put them in the garden. Been there for over a week. Survived last night's thunder storm.

Garden Hint: Took a wire coat hanger. Cut the hook off. Straiten the hanger out. Cut the hanger in half. Put half the hanger into the ground. Slid the straw over the hanger:-)

Dog Whisperer: We have a new book series launching, and we have just trademarked our logo pinwheel books. We had an event a couple of weekends ago with the new T-shirts and what is a pinwheel books event without pinwheels? More adults one of them than the kids. We sold them for two dollars apiece as a fundraiser. They are fun and easy to put together. You can mix and match colors. They spin really well. Everything you would want in a pinwheel. The only downside is they are incredibly slippery and my bag split open and it was impossible to pick them up as a pile! It was comical . So I would encourage a little bit stronger, packaging. Other than that at the price on these!

Amazon Customer: I love the pin wheels. I put them in my front yard in between the monkey grass and on my back knoll. They sparkle in the sunshine and look beautiful when the wind blows. This product comes with no directions - only downfall. For individuals who have never put a pinwheel together I think it could get frustrating. If you have put pin wheels together before it is easy to figure out. I did not count the pin wheels but I had extra parts when I finished putting them together.

S. O'Neill: I wasn't looking forward to having to assemble the pinwheels, but figured to get 100 pinwheels for less than the price of 8, I could assemble them. With that said, now that I have them, I like that I have so many that can be stored in a bag for when any break I can replace them as I need them. I discovered the end of April is apparently too late to try to buy them in store, so if they break as the summer goes (I have 4 small kids and live in a pretty windy area, and pin wheels just aren't made to last), I have an easy to store bag of replacements ready to go.
I knocked a star off because I had to search YouTube for a video on how to assemble them. After I messed around with the first one for a solid 5 minutes or so, I could get one made in under a minute. The biggest hint I have there is that they come made with the oen color sitting on top of the other color, and you kind of have to alternate the color flaps so the flap you're sliding onto the center post is sitting on top of the previous color. That would probably make sense when you have them in hand.
I also didn't like that the little center post topper is red when the piece that you slide the pin wheel onto is like a...
