Amazon Customer: I made the Belgian style waffle recipe and they were the best waffles I have ever made. Each one was perfectly golden. (I had my setting just shy of in the middle)
The second batch of 4 turned out perfect as well. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, nothing burnt or overcooked. The moat did it’s job for easy cleanup. Please do not use cooking spray on this waffle maker. The non stick does it’s job exceedingly well on its own and clean up was a breeze.

This one is like the Ferrari of waffle makers. I highly recommend! It’s HUGE and 4 waffles from this feed two or 3 people, so much quicker than the round one. If you love waffles, you won’t be disappointed.

carterplanning: We purchased this Breville to replace several iterations of $400 rotating waffle makers that continued to suffer from various electrical problems. In contrast to previous units, the deep pockets of this one result in evenly cooked waffles with no undercooked centers. The gutter to catch overflow batter is simple but brilliant This is a major improvement over the dripping mess that often gurgled out of the rotating unit during the baking cycle. I highly recommend this product.

sportybales: It does everything it claims to do - makes 4 perfectly golden-brown, crispy, tasty waffles. I set mine to 3/5 doneness and it is perfect every time.

It has all the controls/buttons it needs, and no more. It lacks the digital display that the more costly Breville model has (for another $150 or whatever it is), which appears to countdown the time until your waffle is done. This is an extraneous feature for me, and it is one more component to fail. This model will simply beep when your waffle is finished cooking. Totally adequate. Fine.

It is expensive, but with three children who like waffles, a trip to our local breakfast joint will set us back $70 or so for one meal, so this baby pays for itself pretty quickly. And the kids get so excited to see it on a Saturday morning. We also break it out for holidays and sleepovers. Waffles for all! If you are on the fence, I recommend trying it. I bought a "used" one from Amazon - brand new, but with a damaged box, for $50 less than a new one. Great deal and tasty waffles - a win all around.

S.S: The waffles that come out if this are thick with a light, crispy crust. Perfect every time!
Even though the plates do not remove in this model, the clean up is easier than the waffle maker I have that has removable plates.
Works well with blueberries in the batter too. Better without, but still quite good with them in there.

Amazon Customer: My family loves my waffles, so I had few waffle makers. This one is the best waffle maker I've ever used and seen! Waffles are always perfect and the speed of making 4 big waffles is just AMAZING! Around 3 minutes and done. In theory it is easy to clean because you can just "wipe it with wet towel" which is true, but sometimes there are tiny crumbs left over, so those are sometimes harder to take out, because the inside is not removable, but still - this is a very very minor detail. I just love everything about it. Make sure though you'll keep it either stationary or easily accessible because it is heavy. Maybe 5 kg or so.
