Lorenzo Faccini: Non mi ha risolto la tendinite però è un aiuto.. facile da mettere, si può regolare la posizione dello strappo in base alla grandezza della mano e della pressione che si vuole ottenere. Non limita troppo i movimenti durante il giorno

Rose Busby: If you have De Quervain tenosynovitis or pain on the thumb side of your wrist pain, this is a great splint at half the cost of others you will see online. My husband is an orthopedic surgeon and recommended this particular splint for my De Quervain tenosynovitis. The others that are more expensive are not any more effective than this one at half the cost. It has relieved my pain within days of wearing it. When wearing the splint don't try and use your hand to the point that the splint doesn't work. The purpose is to splint and prevent thumb movement so you do not have the inflammation in the wrist that causes pain. I noticed that some others that purchased this splint said their thumbs did not fit through the thumb opening. I did not have that problem. I think if you are overweight it may be a problem, however not if you are of average weight. The splint works well and does what it is supposed to do. Gives good support and is not abrasive against the skin.

Oh-Well-Darn: This design is good and well made. It supports the thumb joint well. Unfortunately the thumb opening is too small and constricting for my hand. I am a male with average size hands and normal sized thumbs. I need a splint on my right hand due to excessive use of one type of hand tool that required a lot of repetitious squeezing and over the years I’ve injured my thumb joint. I know eventually I’ll need some kind of surgery on my hand, but in the meantime I’m trying not to re-injure it or make it any worse than it already is. The blood flow is restricted to my thumb when I wear this brace. I’m sure it would be fine if your thumbs are smaller than average or a woman. The design is good in that it’s reversible and can be worn on either hand. If the thumb opening didn’t restrict blood flow to my thumb and make it painful to wear I would use it...instead I’ll be returning this one. Alternately you could just cut the stitching on the seam a bit between the thumb and index finger to make the opening a little larger, but then I’m not sure how long the brace would hold up. If your thumbs are small in diameter you might be able to wear or modify this brace to work. I’ve...

Ginnie: I originally ordered two thumb splints from this company for my husband. While they fit his wrist, the thumb are was too tight for him to wear. I notified the company that I was returning them and why. I received an immediate email from them saying that they would be coming out with a thumb splint that had an adjustable thumb area and that it would be available soon. I went on the weblink provided in the email to pre-order them, and to my surprise it went through as an order and I received the new adjustable thumb splints withing 3 days. They fit my husband's wrists very well and comfortably, and having the adjustable thumb area is wonderful. They are really helping my husband with his pain. I wouldn't hesitate to order any other items from this company. The quality of this product, as well as their customer service, is outstanding.

The Dog Lady: That was my quest. I have a thumb affected by an autoimmune disorder which renders the second (top) joint of the thumb very painful, as well as gradually bending the thumb bones at a rather odd angle. Yes, ouch, indeed!
So I needed a brace which would comfortably fit the second joint, account for swelling, yet immobilize the thumb without affecting the rest of my hand's ability to function normally.
Bracoo won hands down. The thumb portion is not too tight and it is adjustable. The straps don't eat into your wrist. Putting it on is a piece of cake, compared to others which had me contorting all over the place just to fasten the straps correctly. Some reviews said this brace felt bulky - my experience is the opposite. I could even, with care, grasp a drinking glass with the affected hand. No other brace allowed that freedom of movement.
Now, with use over time, I might change my evaluation. I really hope not!
The other braces I tried were;
1. VCS Thumb Brace (blue). This was my second choice, but my wrist was bothered by the bulky strap. Very simple to put on and provided good support.
2. Vive Thumb Support. This made 3rd place - again, the...

Amazon Customer: It's ambidextrous! It really does work well on both the right and left hand. As someone with chronic arthritis and tendonitis in both hands, I really appreciate this.
I've got large hands - I usually wear an XXL glove. This fits pretty well. The thumbhole is slightly too small for my thumb, so I really don't need the tension adjustment part on the thumb.
The rest fits really well. It's got two retaining straps right on top of each other. It doesn't make this thing bulky at all, strangely enough. You just put it on your hand, pull the first strap closed with a little tension; and then wrap the other one around your hand, stretch it a little bit for some compression, and stick it down.
I can wear this all night while I sleep and it's comfortable. If I try to wear it during the day I normally only get an hour or two before my hand starts to sweat and I need to take it off for a while.
