Samantha: I started crocheting about two months ago and am hardly ever not crocheting. I started noticing a slight ache in my wrist and my wrist popping (I am 29 and have never had any body aches prior to this). I did some research and found this. I love this thing so much. It’s so helpful. I do wish it came with more size options, but i genuinely enjoy this so much. It made the holidays so much easier when I was crocheting constantly every day. It is a bit janky considering it’s made from just plastic, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, but still a great addition

Althea Mix-Bryan: It is awkward for me to use as I don’t hold the hook overhand but rather like a pencil. It is not very sturdy and I can see with frequent use the material would fail.

Bodo: Liegt super in der Hand, erleichtert das Häkeln sehr, da die Hand geschont wird. Am Anfang war er etwas klebrig. Habe in mit Desinfektionsmittel abgerieben, jetzt alles okay. Möchte nicht mehr ohne Häkeln. Und ein Anleitungsvideo gibt's auch.

Pandiecats: I’ve had many, many bilateral hand surgeries and I thought I was done crocheting. But, this gadget is wonderful and I am back to enjoying one of my favorite hobbies. This works much better than any other ergonomic crochet hook - they tend to have too small of a handle and even though they may be ergonomic, they really tire my hands out.

serine the best: I wore out my first handle after many years of use. I purchased another because I could not do without this handle. It is absolutely wonderful in my hands. I have had the hook spin on me so I used a different sized ring and it stopped spinning. I totally recommend this as it keeps my hand from getting the crochet claw. it is the most ergonomic handle for me and I have tried many other hooks. This system also hold up to a high torque-- I have ruined other handles by bending the hook or the handle seporates from the hook and this is the only unit that has held up to everything I throw at it (working with cotton making dishcloths has ruined all other hooks and handles but this one)

M. Solomon: This is, without a doubt, the most incredible invention anyone in the Crochet world could have come up with!

I started having hand problems in the early 90s. I had it all! Soreness, numbness, tingling and sharp shooting pains with certain hand movements such as the kind you subconsciously do while crocheting. After all the surgeries it finally came down to having to leave my job and learn something new and stop my beloved crocheting. The hooks were too small for me to grasp. Such as it was until about ten years ago when I decided to pick up my hooks and resume the one thing that brings me total happiness! But again, the hooks, while not having used them for a great period of time, were still too small.

My husband bought me entire sets of hooks with larger handles which gave me relief but still slowed down my activity with the yarns. Then I saw this handy little item in a catalog. Being a longtime customer of Amazon I naturally had too look this up. Not only a great value for the price but also much less inexpensive that the catalog price.
