This does not slide through smoothly, so it's best to have someone to pull while you push.

Thomas: This looks like a very nice upgrade from an old U-cross-section bottom seal. One tip. Do not try to slide the seal along the T-rails. Just tuck it in. The material is soft enough, and it's much easier. You don't need to get a silicon lubrication can.
Here is what I did:
1. Cut the seal so it is 2 inches longer than the door width.
2. Tuck the outer side of one of the T-parts into the rail.
3. Use a flathead screwdriver to tuck in the other side of that T-part.
4. Then, move on to the other T.
Hope this helps!

ConradTrzConradTrz: Product does and looks exactly as illustrated, it is a bit on the soft side but once it is on it does what it needs to do.
I installed the 20ft version by myself in about 20 minutes, some people have mentioned installation being tricky.
First put one side in on an angle and tuck the rubber fin sticking out with an angled pick or something that won’t rip the rubber.
Then do the same thing with the other side.
I tried to take pictures to show what I mean.
Best of luck!
Also once done, I pinched both sides of the garage door rails to be a bit more snug around the rubber to prevent it from derailing.
The rubber is a bit soft so I hope it will pass the test of time.

wmp: Being that the material is thicker than the typical hardware brands one must use 2 people and soap water or lubricant to install. Looks great now after install will wait and see how it performs long term in a Canadian winter.

Brianna: So, first of all if you have a sectional garage door putting this weather stripping on the bottom tract is a chore. I had to remove the bottom section of the door just to place it and that caused more problems then it was worth. Come to find out that the best way to put it on is to lower the door to about five feet off the ground and then remove the section of tracks on both side to get better access to the bottom on the door to place the rubber weather striping. So after all said and done, it does seal well.

Medatswho: Product is great, only a 4/5 rating due to I find it abit softer then expected but still a good product.
Product does the job excellent, seals and fits perfect as advertised.
A bit tricky to install, I ended up putting one side in first completed then "slivered" in the second part (tee) channel with a small screwdriver. Left both ends an inch long and works great.
Price is fair for the product.

Lee Brown: This feels twice a thick as the original seal on my 10ft door. The addition of the inner tube makes it all that much better. Install was easy but really needs two people to get the last 3ft in. My wife kept the U shape and fed the seal as I pulled with pliers from the other end. I did use the dish liquid to lubricate. I had to reset the down position of my door opener because this seal is so robust. Make sure you buy the correct T slot size. I cut a little off of my old one and used calipers to make sure I was ordering the right size. Highly recommended.

La La: I had to change the garage door rubber seal and tried to get one from home depot that didn't work and it was very cheaply made. I found this here and it is SOLID. VERY durable materials. It is soft BUT very very well made. It has dual layer protection. If u are reading this and needing to replace your garage door rubber, MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN the dirt, debris from the previous rubber first thoroughly then apply some soap water around the rubber edge and then install it. IT REQUIRES DEFINITELY 2 PEOPLE!!

Jim: My garage weatherstrip has worn out and with winter approaching I thought I would replace it. Reading the review, this one came highly recommended so I thought I would give it a try. Order the wrong T-side and got the right one. This job, as mentioned by others, required two persons. Since I live alone and did not want to be a bother, I attempted to do it myself. It was a fight but i didn't give up and finally got it installed. The main problem is the T liked to jump out of the track. After two hours or fighting it, lubing the track with lithium grease, spraying with silicone, I came up with the following:
1. Sprayed the track liberally with either lithium grease or silicone spray to lower the friction.
2. Insert T into the track.
3. Push and pull the seal, push first to start, then pull once it is half way through the track.
4. If the T jumps off the track, and it does often, use a flat head screwdriver to poke it back into the track. I wasted one hour to pull it back and retread. Wish I had done this earlier.
Once installed, it looks perfect, adjust the down distance on the garage opener, and i am ready to rock. it is worth a fight. If you have two persons, it...

Mjm: Fit well, easy to install. End caps not much good for my door. I left them out to avoid pinching in between the door rail and jam. It looks like a pro did it!
