Stacey Wright: Got this before starlink was being installed and can I say, it worked SO well! We’ve wired for years the hard way, we both end up frustrated and I’d seen a video using magnets, so came on Amazon to find that, reviews weren’t very good, but I saw these, great reviews, why not try it. Knocked out the wiring in 2 rooms with such speed and ease (and no yelling, no temper tantrums), that we ran more wires that we’d talked about in moments of insanity, and likely ran them where we wanted them in the time it used to take us to run 1 and into 2. Great investment.

Amazon_Customer: These are a great price and work well. I used them for the installation of security cameras. One thing I did was taped each connection to make sure they didn't loosen while fishing.

bolter: I have been building a house and this has come in handy so many times. Really sturdy and comes with a few ends that make finding and fishing wire a snap. So much better than the old rusty fish tape I've had for years.

Stephen Marek: Used this to fish a line through a tight ceiling opening where a traditional steel fish line would not have worked. This still has quite a bit of bend / sagging when fully assembled but I found it much easier to navigate over a number of joists.

Each segment screwed together nicely but I did tape the joins just to be certain they didn't unwind in the ceiling.

Not sure if It's a product of the manufacturing process or if I received a used item but there seemed to be some dirt on the various segments.

David Biron: People complaining this product is built too cheap... either you are using it improperly or doing something wrong.
I used this to run networking wires through several walls. The product held up great.
While I did not lose any rods in the walls, I can agree with one of the other commenters that tape could applied on the thread connections to prevent them from coming loose. I had several that were loose upon coming back out of the wall, but did not lose any. If I was doing longer runs I would probably have taped them as suggested.
I originally ordered the product and it arrived without the fish hook type part, upon contacting the company they sent me a replacement product.
Everything working great so far.
