Bob Books: Learn Sight Words for 1st Grade - Paperback Edition

Cristina: These little books are great for teaching your kid to read. They also build more confidence as they’re able to learn the words quickly with the simplicity and repetition. My kid and myself included felt less frustrated with reading. I highly recommend these book for kids learning how to read.

NJgirlInKS: These are basic but not as boring as some other versions of similar books- most have a pretty cute (though very short) story. Helped my daughter who was struggling with reading to gain confidence.

Aubrey C: I used these when my daughter began reading at the end of kindergarten, she’s now in 2nd grade and she’s a bookworm. I’m now using them again for my other daughter in kindergarten. They come in a nice case with extra flash cards for sight words. You’re not going to find a nicer set of books!!! Worth every penny.

Nella: I’m a believer, these books are just incredible for early hungry readers. The stories are short, sweet, and engaging. I also loved that flash cards are included!!!! Bonus!!! I review the flashcards for the words in books my son has read each week and have him read the short sentence on the back for a small prize. He looks forward to reviewing sight words every week.

Gary: My 6 yr old son went from no reading skills at all, to reading fluently in 2 months with these books. He likes them. The full system with the different boxes of books plus the workbook is amazing. Highly recommend. We use them for homeschooling grade 1.

Amazon Customer: Bob books are great. I used them with my son (jk) during the lockdown and it was very easy gradual learning. I tried other like little readers but the bob books are far better.

ReaderMom: My son loves the Bob books because he can read them completely by himself. These are the only books that I have found that are truly for a beginner reader. Most other beginner books include complex words that are far beyond the beginner level, which can be frustrating to someone just starting to read. The flash cards included with the set have been a great way to reinforce the sight words. I have watched my son's confidence in reading blossom with the Bob books and will continue with the next set when we're done with the First Grade Sight Words.
