Get the best timer switch with the BN-LINK Indoor Countdown Timer!Mario capasso: The reason I got this was to plug in a bank of power tool battery chargers. I have a power strip plugged into this and 6 battery chargers plugged in to that. I select the 6 hour on period and I plug in some batteries. If I leave without unplugging the batteries, they won't continue to charge. I broke my rapid charger by leaving a battery plugged in for almost a week. That prompted me to find this solution, and it works.

P.Ilou: This BN-Link timer works perfectly when I get to bed and want to listen to the CBC FM news that are broadcast every 30 minutes .
Before this timer, I'd fall asleep and the radio would be on all night, waking me up at times.
No radio interference despite being close to the external radio antenna.
My Radio is a GE Superadio 3.
Flawless upon receipt and functions great. Used for 2 nights so far.
So straightforward, no need to read instructions (which are well written if needed).
Much cheaper and compact than BYO with a WC fan wall-timer.

Craig Froehle: I wanted an outlet timer that allowed me to run something plugged into it for a set amount of time with as few steps as possible (ideally just one). This outlet does exactly that. When I recharge my ebike's battery, I want the charger to run for six hours and no more. While this outlet timer can do more than that (e.g., interior holiday lights, or charging a cellphon, or turning off lights later in the evening), it does this very well with high accuracy and reliability. Would immediately order another one if something happened to mine. Great little tool that solves my particular need perfectly.

Elle Mc: I use this for my electric griddle because otherwise I might get distracted and let food burn... Rather than let the smoke detector alert me, and have my griddle destroyed, I can just set it to shut off after a certain amount of time. I also have electric kettles with no auto shut-off. These are hard to find (I bought mine at Goodwill) but if you need to boil your well water for at least 3 minutes to make sure it's drinkable, this shut-off timer is quite valuable. It takes 8 minutes for cold water to come to a boil so I would prefer the minimum time be 8 rather than 15 minutes but at least I don't have to worry about it boiling itself dry!

Alan Helfers: Was looking for a simple solution to safely meter the charging time required for my e-bike batteries and this simple no-frills timer with incremental options for the duration before the timer shuts off the outlet is just what I was looking for. The issue with charging an e-bike battery is to never charge it longer than needed after is reaches the full charged indicator. Also, allowing the power adapter to cool down is necessary so to prolong the life of the adapter and to not waste energy. The one hour, two hour, and four hour single push button operation to start the countdown to the power off provides piece of mind with the charging cutoff. Highly recommended and am confident that this solution is perfect for my e-bikes.

J. M.: Very easy to use. Just plug in, push a countdown timer button, and you're good to go. I love the ease of use.
I do wish that it allowed you to combine the timed amounts like the timer available from Dewenwils. That one allows you to select 1+2 hours and get 3 hours, etc (a setting not available on this timer).
Gets slightly warm even when nothing is plugged in, which makes me question how safe it is. Also, the build quality is a bit flimsy. Safety isn't something you should be questioning when it comes to a timer, so that's something to consider. I'm sure it's just fine, but I wish it was a bit more solid and didn't get warm.
I use it to charge my electric scooter over night. My scooter needs about 3 and a half hours to charge, and I just hit 4 hours and everything is fine.
