Amazon Customer: I need to put a heat pad on my back to reduce the pain to help me fall asleep when I go to bed. It should not last more than 15 to 20 minutes to avoid the skin being burnt. I use lowest heat setting and it was okay when sometimes I did fall asleep before I remembered to turn it off. But if it were on higher settings I would have burnt my skin as the heat pad shuts itself off automatically only after 90 minutes which is much too long. With this countdown timer I don't have to worry about forgetting turning it off.
It didn't work when I first tried it using common sense without reading the instructions. Then it works after I read them. But they should have pointed out that the instructions are just for the first time but they sound like every time you have to do all the steps which are quite cumbersome. I found that after everything has been plugged in the power source and the timer mode is set, what you have to do is to turn the dial clockwise to line up the countdown time with the arrow head. Then turn on the device you want to use (I have to do this for my device. You may not need to do this for yours). So, it's extremely simple to use. That's why I gave it a 4 star so...

AlejandroMX: Me gustó mucho su diseño y que no es tan estorboso como pensaba, ideales para ahorrar energía, lo adquirí para mi casa vacacional, ya que al no habitarla la humedad se estaba comiendo mis paredes y mis muebles, con este timer ya puedo ventilarla sin estar presente, creí que la función de repetir se podía aplicar para encenderse y apagarse varias veces al día, pero solo es una vez por día, aun así es muy útil.
