Hank: Just what I needed for huge files over 100 pages. I have to have my husband help so I can hold the papers, but that is okay. A two-person job. It comes with two types of staples, but I've only tried the larger ones for up to 240 pages. Wish I had bought it sooner.

My previous stapler could barely get through 20 pages so I made the obvious jump to a stapler that could literally staple small children together (not recommending, just stating the facts).
I decided to load it with an open pack of standard staples I had at my desk rather than loading it with the provided staples and proceeded to attempt to staple a modest 87 page document. I placed the paper in the tray, grabbed the stapler's handle and pushed down with all my might. I was immediately disappointed when flipped the document over and realized that the staple was not protruding out the back of the document. Disappointed that is until I realized that the staple was simply not long enough for 87 pages. The staple had gone crisply into the stack of papers and made it through approximately 75 pages before it simply had no more to give.
Placing the 23/13 staples in the stapler pretty much ensures that you will be able to staple any document you need. I can't see any practical use for the 23/24 staples, unless you need hold your house together during a hurricane or hold in your bowels at a dinner party.

Amazon Customer: It worked two piles of papers that were about 100 pages. After that, for an unknown reasons, it can not go through 1/3 of 100 pages. It is supposed to be able to do 240 pages. It is a great idea. Not sure should I return it. It is not worth the $$ to use it for a regular stapler, but after considering the time and travel to return it, that is not ideal
