TimTim: I bought this to replace the cheap Staples stapler supplied by our company. Since then, it has been the office stapler for the staff for years and it still staples great. Looks pretty much brand new still and something about its action is so satisfying.

Mike Betts: I bought this for use in stapling drawing packages that are often up in the 50-sheet range. The average office stapler cannot compete with this Rapid Classic 1. I use it with their 5/16" staples. They are rated for 50 sheets and they certainly punch through that many without crumpling at all. But my guess is that half of this performance is related to a well-defined chute within the stapler that prevents the staples from buckling. And of course this style of stapler is easier on the hand during use. Probably the best stapler I have ever had.

Arlee 2.0: Seems solid enough, sturdy in the hand, and works effortlessly, but the tight spring does not allow for a full clip or bolt of staples, so one is left with a third to put back in the box. That's annoying.

Steves_Reviews: As I haven't got the 5/16" staple to try the larger 45 sheet booklet I can only staple every day stuff of which it works just fine.
The build is good, the spring loaded press is kinda cheap looking, I trust it will last longer than it looks like it might.
Price is reasonable, I looked at a large box store and didn't see this there for less so I'm pleased about that.
Keep your eyes peeled for a sale price down the road as well, then it would be a good deal.

Yeorgos: Been using it for decades. Stapling bills to pizza boxes, and end of day paper taming. Constantly pushing over 50 sheets. It is a workhorse, but eventually gives a little grief now and then. Highly advise purchasing decent staples if you are doing 30+ sheets. I think we have gone through 8 of these, but the floor eventually claims its victims. It helps to have good hand strength for the upper range. Can probably get 100000+ crisps before it gives you minor grief
