cgidi: This jacket is made of a light weight material that is pretty and simple. I purchased a size medium (I'm 5'8" and 135lbs.). I could've sized down as this is a larger jacket in the waist. However, with a bulky sweater or sweat he's hit underneath, it fits fine. The inner lining, blue and white stripes, contrasts nicely with the dark red color. There is an inner draw string that tightens the waist, which helps makes the jacket look fitted. Good length for someone taller as it falls below my hips. I'd recommend for a cute jacket, but for $50 I think you could find something that is a little thicker and more durable.

Amazon Customer: wasn't sure when I bought if it would fit for a petite person. Im 4'11" 120 lbs. Bought size medium. Fit just right. I followed the company size chart. I think it would want it more roomy to hide a crossbody purse inside I would order a large next time. The medium did fit perfectly with a sports bra on, a thin tank top cover and a slightly puffer vest and I could still move arms. however, I will try it on with my actual travel clothes to see if I want to keep the medium or return and get a large and the difference in the chart is not much and should be okay. For petites--my hands down, my fingers touch the bottom of the inside of the pocket but not enough where you cAN rest your hands at an angle . if pockets were 2 inches higher, it would be perfect for petites. As for the sleeves, the elastic could be a little tighter but for my frame, it would have been better if it was 3 inches shorter so I didn't have to grab it with my fingers. But then again, my hands would be covered in the rain as I would grab the end of the sleeve and my hand and fingers would stay dry. overall, I gave it 4 stars because of the fitting a little long . Also the length for me came to the top of the knees.

Violet: Didn’t end up keeping not I can tell you the fabric and style are really nice. Didn’t expect that for the price. It has a nice fit and compared to most brands I’d say it’s true to size. If you like layering then maybe one size up but it really is great!

Jessica Clark: I’m taking a trip and needed a nicer lightweight rain coat. Reading reviews, this one seemed appropriate. The body fits nice, buttons up well, and the color is what is expected (but since I got black, hard to not be). I’ll update my review after the trip to say how it holds up to cooler weather, wind, and (hopefully) light rain. My only complaint is the hood. I almost always wear my hair up in either a ponytail or clip and when putting this on this morning, it doesn’t really cover my head with a clip on the back of my head. It seems like my bangs and such may take some rain, but I guess we will see. I have really thick hair and it’s long, so my clip is always big and the ponytail is large also. But otherwise, fits and feels nice.

Zayda: For reference I bought a large in black. I am 5'6" @ 155lbs. I bought this product to use while working weddings since you can't hold a camera and an umbrella at the same time. I was happy to see that the hood was larger than most raincoats and actually covered my entire head with my hair down. I wish the hood was a bit more oversized to fit on days I have my hair up with a claw clip or in a bun, part of my head is exposed. The quality of this raincoat is amazing. It's also surprisingly soft. The fit was good on my body but the length of the sleeves was a little short. I'm thinking of exchanging and getting an XL, maybe that will be a better fit for me.
