Henry Paris: Bought this for a trip to Europe. Fits well and looks great. Have not worn it in the rain yet; but I don't expect any problems. No idea how long it will last.

AG: I bought the raincoat because there are several places where it claims the hood is detachable; however upon receiving the coat I found that the hood is permanently attached. As a result, this coat doesn’t really meet my needs as I wouldn’t wear a hooded coat of any type to professional meetings or events.

In its favor, the coat is very lightweight and stylish (although it would be more stylish with a detachable hood).

I have a few days to think about it, but I believe this coat will be returned so I can purchase one that actually has a detachable hood.

BVanDykeBVanDyke: I purchased this rain jacket for a trip to Ireland and it looked great in all the photos, I bought the yellow, but it had some functional issues that made me give it a lower rating.
One, the hood. I had read previous reviews about the hood, but figured it wouldn't be a big deal. However, it was. I wanted a hood when it was raining because it was too windy for an umbrella, so it would have been really nice to have been able to tighten the hood around my chin without it covering my vision or have it be so floppy it falls down.
Another issue, it wasn't completely water proof. When it down poured, the wetness did seep through, but only during the heavy rain, otherwise it worked just fine.
The buttons were a bigger hassle than I had thought they would be, as in if you didn't button them, they clanked together rather loudly, much to my husband's annoyance.
Something else to note, this is very much just a jacket for rain, not warmth at all. The lining is very cute, but it didn't provide any warmth to me, which I was a bit bummed about, but that wasn't a huge issue to me, as I just layered underneath it.

Elena Dagis: Such a lovely colour and a fantastic fit that is adjsutable with the waist cord. Nice and long and perfect for my early morning walks in Spring and Autumn. It is lightweight so not very warm but perfect for transitional seasons. I would give it one more star if the cuffs were elasticised to keep the wind out.

Terri: Returning item — jacket is a lot less structured and much boxier than depicted in the listing. The material is quite thin and fairly cheap feeling. Not satisfied.
