Becca: Shake the bottle before using it. I love how intense the concentration of pigment is with this brand. The only thing I would change is the seal on the top of the neck of the bottle. When you first unscrew the top and have to peel off the seal, it's too difficult. Overly engineered with the intent of preventing leaks and preserving freshness. Doesn't need to be such a thick material. When using these food eyes, I am always pleased by the quality. This is now my favorite for cake decorating. It does not flavor the frosting. The red dye did get into my wood cutting board and is slowly getting washed out weeks and weeks later. LOL so, be judicious on what you have around when using these strong pigments. It's not a permanent stain but it takes a while to wash out.

J Anderson: Let me start off by saying that I often wonder how others seem to effortlessly solve the myriad mysteries that vex me as I move through life. Ah — the humble food safety seal. Your admirable grip on these diminutive Color Mill bottles led me to don surgical gloves and wield a paring knife in vain attempts to wrest your unholy seals from your seat on these bottles. My efforts were rewarded with dangling plastic and foil remnants.

Knowing that home bakers often receive extra scrutiny for hygiene and random non-food in food, I persevered. However, my further efforts were met with mangled plastic, and the potential for bonus plastic bits in future frosting. How would I ever remove the seals and their pernicious remnants? How would I ever rid the container of the itty bitty but not zero risk that the outside of the seal introducing bacteria?

Off I went to Amazon to leave a scathing review. I conduct a cursory review of other folks’ reviews, and what the what? I can use the flip lid to puncture the seal? And suddenly I realize - I can wash the sealed bottle and lid if I’m concerned about any possible contamination, then pierce the seal as more enlightened bakers...

Ms.ZayraMs.Zayra: I decided to give this one a try and man was I pleasantly surprised!! The color is brown, like crayon brown which scared me a bit, but I trusted the process and these came out great. The color turned out perfect and these cupcakes came out really cute. My friend and her guests gave these rave reviews. Will definitely by some of the other colors. The bottles are tiny for the price like the size of a regular food coloring bottle but the end result is pretty darn good.

The Rileys: My sisters and I tried to look for the color Royal Blue in candy melts 💙 at Walmart. We could not find it! (Of course).. We just bought white candy melts. (Thinking we could just dye the color). However, I did a one day shipping on Amazon, and it came on time. The dye did not change the taste of the candy melts. It's plenty! I was pray that it will be enough, but it was plenty!! Easy to use!

NicoleNicole: Genau die Farbe wie erhofft bzw. Wie auf der Flasche zu erkennen.
Alle Teile sind mit dieser Farbe gefärbt.
Ich nehme sonst immer Gelfarben und hatte etwas Angst das diese kleine Flasche nicht reicht. Man braucht zwar mehr als bei einer Gelfarbe da się sehr flüssig ist aber ich hatte auch das Gefühl das sie sich so schneller verteilt hat.
Einzig negativ beruht auf die Rücksendung da ich mehr Flaschen gekauft hatte weil ich dachte eine reicht nicht habe ich jetzt zu viele die ich scheinbar nicht zurück schicken kann.
Preislich auch etwas teurer aber würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen

Jessica: Macht eine wirklich schöne Farbe und ist absolut geschmacksneutral. Aber Vorsicht, färbt auch Haut und Fingernägel ziemlich intensiv.
