J. Hartman: After a surgery I needed to use my hiking poles in the house, but the metal tips would have wrecked the floor. I found these rubber tips and they fit perfectly on my Black Diamond trekking poles. The slip on the end securely and don’t fall off unless you want them to come off. They helped me get around safety, gripping the floor without scratching them.

I left them on while packing them in my suitcase while on a trip so that the metal tips wouldn’t damage the suitcase and that was an added benefit. I’m glad I bought them.

Marion: I just started using trekking poles. I ordered these tip protectors after the fact and they fit perfectly. I keep my poles in a carrying bag and the tips help protect the bag from rips/tears.

Brenda P. Tapp: Bought a 'walking stick' from Amazon as I find it more comfortable to use in a wider variety of 'walking' situations than the typical walking cane. I need it more for balance on occasions, than for support. BUT I was afraid the tip on my new walking stick I bought might not last long, plus it was noisy indoors. SO, I searched for a new tip...not knowing what would fit The tip on my new stick 'screwed' on...and a commenter on this tip mentioned that...so I took a chance, and was SOOO happy, it fits and it's tight (like many comments stated). Yay - happy camper here !
