BLACK+DECKER Digital Convection Toaster Oven - 6 Slice Capacity for Countertop Cooking

JR: I haven't owned the oven long enough to determine durability and I've only cooked toast and bagels. Both items cooked properly. Thus, I haven't checked actual temperature. However, the blinking blue light means either the oven is preheating or it is cooling down after the food is cooked. A non-blinking blue light means either the oven is preheated or a preselected setting, i.e. toast, is cooking. No blue light means either the oven has turned off since it has cooled down or it has been unplugged. The spacing on rack is one inch which is too wide. I used an old toaster oven rack that fit, so my food hasn't fallen into the crumb tray.

NetG: I got this because it was listed among those found on "best convection toaster" lists on various websites. It's not at the tip top of the list but those models are a hundred or two more. This one was always RIGHT there, and b&d has always made great products. It was a little odd to use after only using a dial model previously but I'm a smart guy, took me one time to acclimate.

Only complaint, I bought a 12" no stick pan but turns out the pan is actually 13" and won't fit, a 12" pizza JUST fits and that's fine, again a 12" pizza (average frozen size btw) DOES fit just fine.

Don H.: We've had our B&D convection oven for a few weeks and like it very much. Pizza rolls and chicken wings cook very well, as do personal pizzas and breakfast sausages. We also cooked those pre-assembled salmon and tilapia supermarket meals.
The cabinet sheet metal is a bit thinner than our 8 year old oven which it replaced. I had to slightly skew the drip pan to prevent it from vibrating when the convection feature was in use. If the oven is turned on but not put to use right away, it will shut off by itself. Be careful not to touch the hot cabinet when the oven is in use.
In our opinion, for the price this is a super, useful appliance.

JuliaJulia: My first reaction upon opening this was, " it's beautiful!" I mean, it has such a wow factor and adds a touch of fancy to my counter. I was also surprised how light it is. Being a person who moves often, this is a plus.
I wondered if it would work as well as it looks. I initially got it because my apartment is poorly air condioned and I live where the temperatures reach almost 100. Using the oven, and even stovetop in the afternoon isn't feasible. I didn't believe this would do a great job and not heat the house. Well it exceeded my expectations! The chicken I cooked, was thoroughly cooked, skin was crispy, and meat was juicy! All done quickly! Also the muffins I made turned out great too! I'm so glad I purchased this, and will continue to use it daily!
On the muffins, I made a full pan but ate them before snapping a pic

Kevin: I bought this convection toaster oven to replace a 15+ year toaster oven (different brand) that was now taking forever to toast an English muffin or a bagel. The Black&Decker TO3280SSD fits my limited counter space perfectly. As far as toasting and English muffing or bagel - it works GREAT. It heats up quickly - toasts quickly and evenly - works well for melting cheese on open faced sandwiches. I really haven't tried to bake anything in it - then again - I never baked anything in my other toaster oven. This toaster oven is easy to use. It took me a few times to remember to press the on button after selecting the function I wanted to perform. I liked this toaster oven SO much - I bought a spare one for when the first one wears out. The only issue I had was the unit was damaged in shipping. Amazon made it VERY easy to return the damaged toaster oven and promptly shipped a replacement. I'm pleased with both the the Black& Decker TO3280SSD convention oven and Amazon's customer service.
