Easy to empty. Easy to clean, easy to remove roller brush and easy to get long hairs off of it. Makes vacuuming so effortless. This is the third one I’ve bought, one for upstairs and one for down, and a friend has permanently borrowed one, because it was so easy to put in car and transport to her house! The charge lasts long enough to vacuum multiple rooms thoroughly. The attachments are easy to use. Gets pet hair out of carpet. Dogs aren’t scared of it. Only negative, with this most recent one, the charging plug kind of doesn’t fit as easily into the hole on the vacuum. But it’s still charging fully. Not sure what’s up with that. But Black&Decker, please don’t stop making these! They are the BEST vacuum I’ve ever had! (I love vacuums lol). These vacuums make it so easy for an older, not strong, uncoordinated gal to vacuum frequently and effectively!

PHenry: Two years into ownership, and I only have 15m usage out of it at a time. The filter requires cleaning after every use. It does have acceptable suction, but it's not stellar\remarkable. It's....ok. I'll try another brand when this does not finish my basement in one charge (which could be very soon :<).

Tonya Jennings: The first one we ordered arrived broken. The dirt canister was cracked, no damage to the box though. It was easy enough to exchange for a new one but even the 2nd one had a minor piece broken. It's just the tiny clip that locks the canister on but it stays without that so we decided to just keep it. But a $200 vacuum should arrive without broken clips

John Weltz: The versatility from hand held to stick makes it extremely useful. Plus the easy cleaning and dumping is convenient. The only complaint is battery life. I would estimate it closer to 45 min instead of 60. Acceptable to me

Phil: we've only had this vacuum for a week, but I can tell you I was reserved at first, once using it, it became apparent that someone has thought about this. 1) So easy to use. 2) light weight 3) We have two huge golden retrievers, sucks that hair in like there is no tomorrow. 4}SO easy to clean 5)Don't have to worry about switching from bare floor to carpet.
We have owned at least 10+ Vacuums and returned almost all of them.
I can do our whole bungalow in about 15 minutes, its uses 1/4 of its charge.
This is a Must buy if your looking. Especially if you have pets.

Vacuum Wars: The Black + Decker Powerseries pro comes in 3 different versions, we chose the Anti allergen version because it has a Hepa filter which is the main difference between the other 2 besides a slightly different attachment package, though the pet version does have an anti tangle brush that the anti-allergen doesnt.

So starting with the pros we might as well begin with filtration, it does have a HEPA filter and it passed our smoke test showing that there were no leaks, and the HEPA filter works, many of the others we have tested so far were not able to pass this test.

Its also much more versatile than the others, besides being a great vacuum, which we will talk about later, it converts to handheld unit by being able to detach the canister, for cleaning cars, upholstery or stairs, you can also use the extendable handle for reaching up high, and it is the only one we have tested that actually comes with attachments, in this case three types of dusting brushes and a crevice tool.

It is packed with features including a kind of trash compactor for pushing debris down to get more vacuuming time before emptying the bin. It also has an LED light and the a lot of power...

tekritr: My wife and I just love this small, lightweight cordless touch-up vacuum. We bought one at a steep discount that someone had returned, and I strongly expect that he or she were expecting diesel pickup truck performance from a Nissan Leaf. The biggest feature of this appliance is that when you need to vacuum up dirt, lint, crumbs, or assorted dust bunnies, you grab it, do it and put it back on the charger. Not having a cord eliminates a huge psychological barrier to using it. It gets all kinds of surfaces, hard floors, area rugs, deep pile carpets, entry mats, dusty shelves, etc. etc. visibly clean. We own a 2,000 square foot townhome with about equal rug and hard surface areas, and we can do a complete vacuuming that takes roughly 30 minutes, on one charge. My wife owns a commercial cleaning business, and she tells me industry studies show you can cover about 30% more area in a given time with a cordless vacuum. I suspect this benefit is even greater when you're doing mid-week touchup vacuuming where mobility is everything.

It took about 4 charge/discharge cycles before this thing began to demonstrate its rated battery life. It will run for over an hour if you keep blower...
