I bought this to replace the battery for a BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Leaf Blower (LSW221). The old battery was about 4 years old and barely ran for 2 min. With a new BLACK+DECKER battery being $50 and a whole new blower with battery being $80, it didn't make sense to buy just the battery. Thought I'd try this before replacing the whole thing.
This battery fits the BLACK+DECKER charger and 20V Cordless blower just fine. It seems to charge a bit slower than the original but it runs for about the same amount of time. It is a vast improvement from the run-down original battery I had. I just used it to clean up my patio and driveway, and ran for about 20 min before it started to slow down. The blower is a lightweight blower and the battery matches that function.
This battery also works well in my BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX* Cordless Reciprocating Saw Kit (BDCR20C).
Overall, for the price, I am very happy with this battery. I cannot speak to the longevity of the product, as I have only had it for a month, but so far it has been great. As with all of these battery packs, protecting them from extreme temps and weather conditions goes a long...

My father gave me his old Black & Decker 20V lithium tools (string trimmer, leaf blower, and drill) maybe 10 years ago. He included two 3.0 Ah batteries and a charger. Unfortunately, at the time he gave me the set the batteries were already a little weak. I had a solid routine. I would ensure both batteries were fully charged. Cut the grass in the front, trim and edge, put that battery on the charger, cut the back, edge and trim, and then swap for the leaf blower to finish up. The two batteries would just handle it. Well, that got me through for years until finally the batteries were too weak and the trimmer would run for less than 5 minutes. I considered buying a Ridged set (I had already purchased some other Ridged 18v tools), but they were very expensive. I could not find new B&D 20V batteries in my local home stores so I thought maybe I could find one on Amazon. I came across this generic battery for $18 and thought "Why not? Worst it can do is destroy the equipment I've already given up on." To my pleasant surprise the battery performed wonderfully. I don't think this equipment has ran so well in the entire time I've owned it. I was so happy with it...
