Mika: This solution worked well to clean up food messes and a couple of secret cat throw up spots arount the house. I always use baking soda on most moist messes before I steam clean, so the usually isn't strong smells in the first place. But after using this in my living room and hallway, the entire area smelled like a weird mix of chemicals and vinegar for a couple of hours. It wasn't pleasant. Other than that, the stuff cleaned well.
