leanc: For me, it leaves water behind and I have to rerun the cleaner over and over to pick up all the water & still some is left behind. I does not suck as well as another brand I tried. I would purchase the other brand again if it ran off of electricity and not batteries, it had way more suction power. This one, when you turn it off and have to attend to other business right in the middle of scrubbing the floor, it leaves a big puddle of water. I thought Bissell was a name you could trust to have the best products but I'm very disappointed in this turbo clean power brush. I will say it does get the dirt up though because the water it does pick up is dirty. Sometimes I can use a whole container of soapy water and the dirty water container will not even be full, that is how much water it leaves behind. I would purchase this again if they made one with decent suction power.

Clurie: I bought this to clean my cream colored carpeting. It took my a few hours to clean my living & dinning room but I was shocked to see how clean they came. I was just telling my husband I think we should get new carpeting even though the carpeting was only 5 years old. They got so dirty so fast with kids and pets. Even after having the carpet cleaning guys come out, I still wasn’t happy. But this machine is a workhorse for being not a big machine! My carpet looked new when I was done! I even cleaned by bedroom with it and that came out beautiful! Great Machine, buy it you won’t regret it!! Also buy the Bissell with Oxi cleaning solutions! I think that helped quite a bit!

1OldRN: Great suction. Rugs dry quickly. If you have a large area to clean, you may want to consider a larger machine. I'm only saying that because I spend a lot of time emptying and refilling the tanks. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with its performance.

MG from AZ: We have an elderly dog with an incontinence issue so we end up cleaning the carpet a lot. I got tired of hiring cleaning services and/or renting carpet cleaners and hauling them all over so I bought this unit. We were surprised and very happy at how well it picked up the dog urine and other messes. We recently purchased a home that is new to us but older. We are in the process of remodeling small projects over time and decided to replace all the main floor bedroom carpet but leave the upstairs white wool carpeting. The upstairs carpet had a lot of dirt and stains, presumably from the previous owner's moving out and hauling dirty things from the attic through the rooms and halls. We couldn't believe how well this Bissell cleaner worked, along with the Bissell cleaner and a pre-treatment spray, at restoring the beautiful white carpet to it's bright clean former self. The only drawback is the small tank so you have to clean small areas, refill the clean water and dump the dirty old water a lot more often than a larger machine.
