Old House Parents: These cutting sheets (not really boards) were great on our camping trip, as they lay totally flat for very easy packing. They are really easy to clean because there are no grooves to deal with. They are larger than I expected, and with 5 in one pack, you can maximize the size of your prep area. They are durable enough, and with 5, you always have a backup. We also used these when we rented vacation homes, where we have to take our own smaller cooking items to get the best out of the kitchens there. They are great in that context. I don't, however, like using them at home on a constant basis. Since they have no lip, they are not good for liquid based items (like over ripe tomatoes), as the liquid can run right off the sheet onto your counter or floor. But for travel cooking, they are perfect.

Dawn: These are awesome and the colors are just fun to work with I pick the red and the orange one for different Meats the red one for red meats and the orange one for fish such as salmon, a yellow one I use for fruits, the green and blue I use for vegetables and the other colors I use for miscellaneous foods.

Miss Cheran Smith: Got these mats to replace my old ones. We discovered that if the item you are trying to cut is wet like raw meat it slips all around the mat. It made cutting raw chicken rather challenging!

David C.: Compre la misma marca mismo producto hace 5 años, admito que ya era hora para reemplazarlas.. el mes pasado una de *LAS VIEJAS- que tenían años de uso diario se partió en un golpe sacudiéndola.. ahí pensé en comprar unas nuevas, las anteriores eran 5 piezas que use diario. Las usé sin exagerar DIARIO (cocinamos mucho) y mi única recomendación es no ponerlas cerca del calor, o ponerles la cuchara caliente o la comida caliente, se pandean con el calor, pero eso lo aprendí con 2 de las 5 anteriores.. Ahora son 7, las dividí, guardé 4 y tendré tres en uso. Las nuevas son mismo grosor (comparé) pero son traslucidas..
Practicas, fáciles de limpiar, fáciles de guardar.. yo uso un pedazo de trapo húmedo de cocina por debajo al usarlas para algo pesado, pero verdura, fruta, especias no se resbala.
La verdad las veo mas cómo protección para mi cubierta y muebles de la cocina que cómo tablas pesadas para cortar.. No son tu "tabla" donde picas los tacos, o cortas la carne cocida (de nuevo, no resisten el calor) No las recomiendo como manteles individuales o para poner lo caliente en la mesa. Son sólo para picar.. Para eso, si las recomiendo.
