Bandchoirnerd96: This book had a few uncomfortable moments between an adult and a child but overall, the story and the characters are as lovable as the first book and it kept me interested to the very end.

Rieka: Won't lie even after so many years of knowing what happens in the first few books this one got to me like it always does. I still love this series and love rereading it to find the emotions I felt years ago still hit me today. The characters in this book are hard not to love. The group of misfits just tug at your heartstrings with all the twists and turns that are hidden in this book.
Zoey continues to be a strong FMC. She always puts her friends first and encourages them to do the right thing. In this aspect it's kinda hard to know she pushes them so hard to stay on the right track when we know she breaks a few rules herself without them knowing. She needs to cut ties with Heath. In my opinion it's not fair to him on what she's doing. Stevie Rae just broke my heart to a million pieces this time!!

Alicia: I started reading this series at least 12 years ago, but didn't finish it because the public library did not have the last few books.
I recently saw a tik tok video mentioning the series and then I recently bought the whole series to relive my childhood and to finally finish the series.
The only thing I don't like is that the covers on Amazon have changed to more colourful covers. The books as I remembered had the black covers.
The story takes up pretty much from where Marked left-off, though an indeterminate period of time has passed since the events of Marked.
I love them now as much as I ever have. The house of night carries on. They make me laugh, they make me cry, and they'll always have a special place in my heart.

Jessica Herren: The story is great and I loved this series when I was in high school. I wanted to reread them all again as an adult. I don’t remember there being so many errors in the paper copies but the first two books I’ve read in the series on kindle are full of editing errors. Incorrect words and repeated paragraphs make me wonder if it’s really worth the price for this kindle edition. Hopefully they will take another look.

Danielle: I read this a few months ago, so the story isn't fresh on my mind.
Betrayed starts of not long after marked and when teenagers start dying, Zoey helps find out who the killer is.
Ok so I did really enjoy this book, the story line was really enjoyable but I've given up on this series because I can't stand Zoey! She really annoys me and makes a big deal out of nothing. I've heard the books get worse as the series goes on, so that's another reason I've given up, which I really hate doing!
Like I said, the story line is really enjoyable and keeps the reader interested and I would have liked to continue with the series, but I know I couldn't because I couldn't deal with Zoey! But if you're a fan of the series definitely keep reading, I'm just sad I couldn't continue.
Between and 4 and 4 1/2 stars.

Becki Weston: Betrayed is the second book in P.C. and Kristin Cast's fabulous A House of Night Novel series. The story takes up pretty much from where Marked left-off, though an indeterminate period of time has passed since the events of Marked.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I just devoured it; it took me less than a day from start to finish to read this, and I can't wait to start the next book in the series :)
Betrayed has all the wonder of Marked and some of the same flaws too. It was nice to get re-introduced to the cast, to Zoey, and Stevie Rae, and Damien, and the Twins (Shaunee and Erin, who aren't really twins at all), and to Erik, and to Nala (Zoey's cat). I fell straight back into the world of House of Night, it was like I'd never left. I really liked that about this book.
We also got introduced to some new characters, who were interesting, and I can't wait to see how they develop. Changes are definitely afoot in this book. It is interesting to see how things fall out, and the questions it causes for the next book - which, just in case I haven't mentioned this before, I am looking forward to reading. Aphrodite and Neferet are very, very interesting in this...
