Peter: this is a good door handle but it arrived without any keys. Box said to contact Berlin Modisch for customer assistance. They referred me back to Amazon who offered a price reduction as compensation. Since the door already has a dead bolt, I accepted that and I am happy.

Heidi N: Difficult to change handle/locking side. Then discovered that one screw to attach then together to the door was missing. They do look very nice . Then , when wanting to install the deadbolt, we noticed it had a very flimsy way to attach it to the door and the way it was built (compared to the otherwise ugly old gold one I removed and another spare we had lying around). Wouldn’t be very secure in our opinion. So we decided to return.

S. B.: This feels like a solid door lever. It installs easily. It looks great. The only issue is there’s a small burr toward the inner back of the lever. It’s not quite sharp enough to cut your hand, but it definitely is an odd sensation to feel when you’re expecting a smooth handle. It’s possible this is a one off manufacturing defect, but I saw this mentioned in another review. Overall, it wasn’t a big enough deal to warrant a return.

SteveSteve: They look very nice and my wife can turn them easily, but the handles do not fit snugly and it feels like they could break easily, there is about 3-5 mm movement on the Handles on both sides. It’s a real shame otherwise they would be perfect.
If I lived in a unsafe area, I would NOT use them, on the Front Door.
The deadlock has to be used with a key to lock from the outside….. I suppose that’s safety because then you know it is locked.
Using one key is the best!
