Chammes: I purchased this projector for watching films, blurays for the most part, however even DVDs look okay. Netflix and Prime look terrific.

At 100" the picture is surprisingly bright and sharp. I was hoping I could play games with my xbox series x on it, though it wouldn't have been a deal breaker for me had the lag been noticeable - I just would not have used it for games.

However, it plays games with no discernable lag whatsoever. I like everything from Forza to Dead Souls, and they look beautiful way up on my wall. Third person games like Dead Space and Sniper Elite feel like I am playing a movie. And Microsoft Flight Simulator is stunning!

Beautiful projector, I just love it. Easy set up, it's light and small enough to pop in my backpack to take it to my girlfriend's house. The bulb cools very quickly, and the fan is very quiet. 100% recommended.

Victoria CardellVictoria Cardell: The media could not be loaded.  Ordered 2 Vankyo units before ordering this BENQ short throw high brightness model. The first Vankyo was a dud and the 2nd was ok but lagged on Mario Kart. So we upgraded to this short throw legend. Man oh man is the picture on this great. The brightness is incredible (especially compared to the $2-300 Vankyos) and the color really pops. Sound is more than adequate for a normal sized room. Projector is bright enough to be used with pretty high amounts of ambient light. The brightness is enough that it just looks like a 100+ inch backlight screen. Has a handy zoom feature and 2 leveling screws/legs that makes placing the unit a breeze. Gaming was super smooth with no noticeable lag.

The budget projectors are ok for the occasional back yard movie but the experience feels like your giving up a lot for the extra screen size. With this model you...

sonicd0012: Picture Quality 10-10

The picture is great, very good colors and the blacks are very good too. The image is pixelated when sitting up close so the text is not anywhere as clear as a 4K, you will see a difference. 1080P is not bad, but a 4K resolution is far superior. I use a 106” screen and I sit about 8 feet and the image fills up the entire screen only at 5ft which is awesome! Compared to the Optoma UHD50X the Ht2150ST blacks are way better but the difference between 1080P and 4K is clear if you sit close to a huge screen. The input lag is low for this projector and for 1st person shooters its great but not anywhere as close to a 120hz monitor however so dont expect to be as good as your monitor will perform, also gaming on a huge screen on FPS shooters is hard because of the size of the screen.

Build Quality 9-10

The build quality is very good! Compared to Optoma projectors including the HT143X/243X/UHD50X all look very similar but they are nothing special and look quiet cheap. This Benq model just looks great.

Packaging 10-10

Benq packaging is very good quality, foam, projector wrapped in its own carrying case definitely...

Daredevil007: Bought this projector along side the optima 1080darbee for comparison. This projector outperforms the competition in every way except throw ratio . The 1080darbee can create a 130 inch diagonal image from only 6.5 feet while the BenQth671st can accomplish the same 130 inch image from 8.1 feet. I compared the two images on the same surface using a ps4pro. The picture quality and colour reproduction are great. The website states 92% or rec 709. Once calibrated I must say it looks gorgeous. When it comes to light output, its about 20 to 25 percent brighter then the 1080darbee. Yet they both state 3000 lumens on their respective spec sheets. The contrast is also very good. The light and dark parts of the images stand out a bit more. I would say that the hues and colour gradients are better represented. With less clipping and saturation problems. The black levels are great once calibrated to your specific situation ( scene type, wall etc ). further more, this is a great P.J for gaming with only a 16.8 millisecond lag time, just like the 1080darbee. These projectors blow any 4k tv out of the water buy at least 12 to 20 milliseconds. If your in the market for a compact...

Beck north of Port Perry: Small and quiet, yet enough Lumens to handle my 120" screen....even during the day, though pulling the curtains helps a lot in the day, like any HT.
Fast for gaming systems, and the short throw is super convenient with 20% + or - zoom as well. The projector is only about 6 feet from the screen, and it fills it. No rainbow effects, as they hiked up the color wheel speed. This projector gives a great picture, at many resolutions....as clear as many other projectors at twice the price. If there is room for any improvement, lens shift would have helped a bit, otherwise keep the lens in the middle of the screen, left to right wise. But on the plus side, the keystone adjustment allowed for the screen and projector to be at unrelated heights, and this feature gave back the perfect rectangular viewing area on the screen.

KoltonKolton: This is a review for the BenQ HT2150ST. Seeing as Amazon combines numerous models into the same review pool, I felt the need to specify. I have only had the projector for a couple days so this is a honeymoon-phase review and I will try to remember to update this review later on after I have had a while to put it through the ringer. I will compare the 2150ST to the Optoma GT1080 in this review as well. Having said all of this, let's get to the review.

**Picture Quality**
This projector's picture quality is simply remarkable. I am highly critical of anything I purchase with my evaluation of electronics being especially stringent. Compared to the Optoma GT1080, the BenQ has better colors; equal or better black levels; less rainbow effect (abbreviated RBE); and better focus uniformity (perfect). Many people are concerned about the rainbow effect, so I am here to say that it is all but non-existent on the BenQ. The Optoma had some rainbowing that wasn't bad by any means, but it did show up without even purposefully looking for it. It didn't bother me much, but having now used the BenQ I feel spoiled. Quite literally the only way I can even observe...
