Kathy, Florissant, CO: Sensitivity of the back's skin varies greatly from one person to the next. The bristles are soft on the palm yet feel just right on the back. I was doubtful that the head was big enough until I received it. It is a good size considering the motion of scrubbing with the handle. The bristles are very dense (many) in the head.

Jeannette: I wanted a brush suitable for applying body lotions and oils after showering, and this works perfectly. I have added a cotton cord for hanging, and although I keep it in the shower, I didn't want it as a shower brush as such. It has compact soft bristles and a smaller brush head than the usual shape, and a less slippery handle which all works for my purposes. For those who are looking for a back scrubber, this may be a little too gentle- unless of course that's what you're looking for.

Alex: This is high quality product. It has dense soft bristles but when scrubbing my back it feels hard. Is not bad. Just a bit uncomfortable for me as I have sensitive skin but it does what is meant to do hence the 5 stars

Urnee: After searching for a perfect back brush I found this one. I like the one piece construction so the handle can't pull out of the brush. The bristles are soft and rinse clean. The shape of the handle is comfortable and angles perfectly. The color is nice too.

Fred49: I bought this to use after my shoulder surgery, and it works great. As I already noted, the handle could be a few inches longer since I had spots I couldn't reach. When I first opened the pack, I thought that the bristles might be too soft. But they are perfect, probably because they are densely packed. If you put soap directly on it, it will require a lot of soap. So what I do is soap up, wet the brush and then brush some of the soap from my legs or torso onto the brush. Works great!

ASH: I have little experience with brushes for the back so don't know how this compares with other brushes. From an initial use of 1 week:
1. Brush is soft but hardy enough to give your back a good scrub/scratch.
2. Handle is long enough to reach far down the back. and nicely angled for this manoeuvre.
3. Soap takes a while to wash out of the brush, which really should be cleaned after every use to reduce buildup, smells and mould..
4. Point 3 has made me reluctant to use the brush daily (probably not a great idea anyway - you'd probably remove too much epithelium!) so it's back to contortions in order to rub soap where you cannot see...

As for longevity, only time will tell. I'll update this review in a few months' time.

Honeybee: I love the Surlees 1.0…and the color was better. The bristles were softer with the 1.0….however, the softness of the 2.0 is likely better than other back scrubbers out there.
The color of what I got this time isn’t “Blue” as advertised…more like a charcoal gray with a tinge of blue…it’s ugly. Not to mention the bristles are dark…instead of white that my Surlees had.
I was going to use the new one for the shower, but instead Ill keep the old one for that. I’m going to use this ugly one as a gentle scrubber for stuff I have to clean around the house.

Karla Rivera: Las cerdas están muy pegaditas lo que permite que tallarte sea suficientemente fuerte y sin lastimar. Las cerdas no son duras pero tampoco súper suaves, justo en el buen balance. Si lo que buscas es que talle más fuerte, si puede ser mejor uno de cerdas naturales pero funciona excelente! Se me quitó la sensación de resequedad en la espalda y apenas lo he usado 2 veces
