Mr. Roberts: These little guys work great. We mounted them hanging from our eves with the light just above on the roof. They pick up any motion by a person and the light is super bright. Mine have only been up about a month but they've worked perfectly since I opened the box.
PS: Pay attention to the modes and how to set them. They work fine but you gotta do it right.

Paul Lopes: Bought these to add motion lighting to the entryway and yard of my home. The added benefit of being solar powered was definitely a plus. Lights are bright enough to light up a good area and the motion detection is very good as well (too good sometimes with people passing by outside and my dog who loves to go in and out all night.) You definitely want to let these charge up before putting them into operation. I failed to do so on the first one and thought the unit was defective. Moved the solar panel to an area with more direct sunlight and haven't had an issue since.

Mom of babyMom of baby: This led flood light is super bright with powerful motion sensor. We love it at our front door. Customer service is excellent. We had a hard time figuring out how to use the best of it. After contacting seller, they provided us with some better tips. I hope they help you guys too.
1. Most importantly, the solar light needs to be connected with the solar panel when using it. It has 4 lighting modes, but mode 1, 2 and 3 only work at nighttime while mode 4 works both day and night. As a result, if you press the remote control during the daytime, only mode 4 works. If you press the remote control at night, all of them work.
2. The motion detection range depends on the height you install the light as well as the angle of the motion sensor. I recommend mounting the light 6 to 11 feet height to get a larger detection range and don’t forget to adjust the motion sensor to a better angle.
