Thomas M. Carnahan: Great features. It's light. It can be powered from an AC outlet or from the cigarette lighter in the car. It has a handy light right on the unit that can be used to find the valve stem.

BUT

I just got it. I was successful in topping off the air pressure in two tires. When I got to the third tire, it started reading some ungodly numbers in the hundreds. It would let me hit the decrease button and the number immediately went down to my last setting but as soon as I released it, it went back to the astronomical number. When it pushed the button for the AC power (I had it plugged into AC), it made some sort of noise like it was going to start, but didn't. Multiple presses of the button resulted in the same.

I went inside and came back out several hours later. Same thing. I tried it with the 9 volt cigarette adapter... the same.

I love all the features but it is NOT reliable. If I could get a replacement that worked, I would give it 5 stars, but at this point, I would have to give it a MINUS ONE star.

Pack Leader1: Have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about pulling out the wire for the lighter plug, I figured I'd never be able to get it back into the compartment it was stored in. It was no problem at all, it fit back in easily, and the plug can be situated to block it in. Just fold it back and forth in a small bundle and stick it in, lock it in place with the plug.
I drive a van, and the power cord was JUST long enough to reach my rear tires, at full extension the pump sat right next to the wheel, within reach of the air line.
The locking air valve makes it easy to use once you get the hang of locking it on one handed, it's not hard to figure the easiest way to do it. The air hose, also, easily fit back into it's compartment without struggle.
The ad says it stops once it reaches the pressure you set it for, and, at first, I thought it wasn't working, it displayed the pressure I had set when it reached it, but continued running for another 30 seconds or so.
I figure it displays in half pound increments as it inflates, so as soon as it exceeds the half pound pressure it then displays the set, chosen, pressure but runs on to top it off to the correct poundage.

SJSJ: The media could not be loaded.  Purchased this to reinflate my Grand Cherokee tires from 20 psi to 37 psi after driving on the beach. This model works far better than the prior model. The cable length for the ac plug is short, while the car plug is long enough for me to plug into the front cigarette lighter and reinflate all 4 of my tires within ~3 minutes for each tire to an exact 37 psi. I love the automatic off feature when the tire reaches the user's desired psi value.

The build quality isnt great and it feels like something made on the lower end of a Chinese factory but it performs better then any other portable inflation unit I've owned. Not sure why I have a storage compartment cover for the ac plug and inflation cable but not the car port plug. Aside from this great buy.

Mario Gutierrez: This unit worked very well on the tires for both my Mustang GT and an Acura MDX (both oversized tire sets for passenger cars) -- accurate auto-fill and quite quickly. My primary reason for purchasing it was to have something convenient to get my tires up to pressure when they come down a bit due to use or due to the normal winter temperature drops up in New England where I live and it suits that purpose perfectly. Much better than having to search high and low for a gas station with a functioning air compressor.
If your expectation however is to use this for roadside emergencies, I think you would be hard pressed to do so on anything but the smallest vehicle. Reason: Both the 12V DC cord and the inflation hose are short. I plug the 120 cord into an extension cord in my garage and so can go all around the MDX with no problem. But the DC cord is not long enough to reach even the ground right outside the car door when plugged in, and even if it did, the air hose is not long enough to reach both vehicle tires on that side.
