Siddigger: Does the job, no complaints. High enough that it will seal on unlevel slab. Seals good and alittle longer than stated. I have a 20' garage door. Used round pipe insulation to connect two 10' through inside for splicing together. Can not even tell, join tight. Pliable and tough, looks like it will work well in MN winters. I installed when warm out so it will conform right. Stayed perfect for when winter came.

Arleigh: Pretty much what I expected.

Slid on to the rail very easily using the suggested soap water method. However the suggested method of fastening it in place by folding back the tag ends into the rail made no sense. I just cut off the surplus flush with the door and called it good. It's pretty snug in the rail so I don't think it will move out of position.

Ryan: Although the width for the T is correct the rubber is too thick to go into the rails so its useless and wasted money

Pasquale 61: The 1/4" T-slot size was key. I went to Home Depot, Menards and Lowes and the ones that they carry are for T-slots that are 5/16" or maybe even slightly larger. The packaging does not say this anywhere, they only tell you the width of the seal. I made the mistake of buying one of them and could only get them in an inch or two before getting stuck. I had to trim the entire length and even then I struggled. What a pain! After fighting with one door for over an hour I started researching on Amazon and found this one. This one fit perfect and slid right in snugly. It took me less than 5 minutes for an 8ft single garage door. (It took longer to get the old one out!) I used a can of compressed air to quickly clear the T-slots of any loose dirt. I thought I would need some silicon spray, but I didn't.

I STRONGLY recommend measuring the width of the T-slot on your old seal before purchasing anything. I did this after the fact which was a mistake. If you're struggling sliding the seal in, and your T-slot is not too banged up and it is clear of debris, you have the wrong size! Plain and simple.

Steve: This seal T was too wide for my door. I cut out the end section on my existing seal that was bad. Then I cut an equal length from the new seal and shaved a little off the T with a razor knife. I was then able to slide it onto the door bottom. I took a piece of foam water pipe insulation and slid it inside the new seal to make it a little more sturdy. It is working pretty well.

Ron D: Replaced the gray weather seal that was previously on the door. The old seal had lost all its flexibility, when the garage door was closed you could see a lot of daylight shinning through. I'm sure it was the original seal from when the house was built in 2000. With the new seal installed there is no daylight shining thought when the door is closed. Very happy with this product it has worked well for me.

ol rassler: Installed easily along the bottom of the door. Slide into the rail holding the T-ends. Measured the groove before buying to make sure the T-ends would fit. Used a little WD-40 to help slide it along the length of the door. Product seems well made, but a little thinner than the one I removed (15 years old). Probably not a problem, but would have liked it a little thicker material. Sealing bottom of door well, water and snow not coming in. Would have given a 5 star if a little thicker, but that just maybe how they are made today.
