Amazon Customer: Needed this to test battery leak. Had some issues with it previously because of a poorly installed train horn. Got everything rewired and this was able to help me reassure myself that there was nothing wrong after the changes. Nice because it is 10amp and I can comfortably test my car battery.

M. Pugh: This handy compact multimeter has been an accurate intuitive companion. I purchased one about a year ago and carry it in my service bag (PC Repair Tech). I had been using my much larger (and more expensive) multimeter when wiring a storage building conversion but ended up parking it in the shop and purchasing a 2nd one of these meters to replace it. This was more accurate and way less anoying than the other one I have.

JOEY: good overall meter for basic measurements would like to have seen a capacitance range but thats a bit greedy. Ruggedly constructed with an easy to read backlit display the price is very reasonable I recommend it !

Jun: This little Digital Multimeter reader is the best entry level Digital Multimeter you can get. Sure it might not have the fancy name brand and price tag to match. This was my first time using one and I was able to probe my faulty Nintendo Switch Dock. I probed around the board and compared my readings with online references. It read them perfectly & matched the outputs as well. I would have payed $20 for this thing if it was built more rugged and higher quality case. but aside from that, if you are a beginner, go for it.

Ektarama: and that was to check the voltage output of a rebuilt alternator I had just put in my car. Using it I was able to determine that the alternator was defective. I'm pretty low tech and don't really have much other use for it now but it was worth the purchase price to be able to track down the problem. Since the alternator was fresh I was looking for every other reason that the battery was discharging. If I had bought it first I would have saved a lot of time.
