These gloves are very lightweight and formed from stranded wire crocheted into a glove shape. The liner glove is nice, but I rather use it without it (reasons will follow).

The snap on the wristband is very useful and the fit and stretchiness of these gloves make them a nice fit, and good for tool control.

I have a large Niroflex 2000 glove which is humongous, so I order this one in a medium size not to fail, however, after trying it I realized I should have ordered a large one, this one is very tight. Check the measuring table and order a slightly bigger one to be able to use the liner glove, otherwise, it would be too difficult to put them together, which unfortunately happened to me.

Now, this glove is not Steel Metal Mesh Chainmail but high-strength polyethylene fibres and stainless-steel wire.

Just a quick note, do not confound CUT resistant with PUNCTURE resistant. In other words, this glove protects against cuts but does not prevent direct-point punctures if you accidentally stab your palm,...

Envy: The glove came in a small plastic back with a cotton glove for wearing underneath. Having used a proper chainmail glove in the past for butcher work, I was curious what this steel mesh would offer as a comparison.

Curious what they meant about cut level 9 resistance, I googled ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 cut resistance standard - essentially a Level 9 resistance is meant for extreme workloads (12 LBs + of force across 20 CM to cut), and I have not tested that extensively so I'm not too confident about this claim. However for general kitchen use like cutting vegetables, grating carrots on a grater, or using a mandolin I've personally tested this item and it definitely works. Gives me piece of mind as I'm not great with delicate tasks and have cut myself plenty in the kitchen before.

After use I wash with dishwasher soap and leave out to dry. Hopefully it does not rust.

JJ: This review is for a product I received for free from the Vine program.

It comes with a white 'underglove' piece that isn't very good to be honest. I have medium sized hands and it's still too tight, restricting movement too much.

The actual cut resistant glove is fine. I used it to shuck oysters, and I'll be using it when I go fishing.

david@mm: I loved this product. It was really helpful in cutting and deboning meat. I was able to work fast and without any worries of cutting myself.
My only issue and a big one was how to clean it after I finished working with it. I tryed soaking it in hot water and soap overnight and it didn't do the job at all. I've seen reviews writing that you can wear disposable gloves on top of the gloves, I havn't tryed this yet but i'm not sure it's not a pure sulotion because the knives will for sure make holes in the disposable gloves. I've also seen reviews about cleaning them in some kind of solution, I havn't tryed this either, and I'm not sure how easy it's to take off the solution so it shouldn't go into the meat the next time I use the gloves.
What I did after the first time I used the gloves and I didn't want the raw meat to stay on the gloves because of the bacteria, I put the gloves in an oven until the meat burnt, it was easy to scrub off the burnt meat, although the next time I used the gloves in the begining there were small pieces of burnt meat on the raw meat, it was very easy to wash the burnt pieces off the meat.
Well the next time I put the gloves in the oven I left...
