rhondamadgirl: You have a little space at the back of the tank the glass doesn’t reach. The purpose is to allow you to cut the plastic strip to fit around your accessories, like hoses, heaters, etc. it’s a little bit of a pain doing that part, but if you have fish that jump out, like bichirs, you really need that part. All around it’s a good quality lid.

Alyssa Joy Manigbas: One of the tops came shattered but Amazon refunded the funds. Won’t be ordering again as it took too long to show up and I needed it ASAP. Too bad cause it looked like really good quality.

Steven H.: I was firmly convinced that this was a one piece glass top. Evidently I missed the actual measurements or just zoned them. I saw, "Size: 48x18 Inch (Pack of 1)". And "Actual Glass top measures 44.5-Inch X 16.5-Inch"... (I zoned this or I would've known it was too short)..."designed to fit on top of an aquarium up to 48 X 18 inches." HOWEVER, every single other listing for a 48" top that I have seen anywhere I have looked (and I've looked everywhere believe me) has clearly stated that the top was two piece. My fault I know. I didn't open the pictures because I didn't need to know what one looked like. That's where it states that it's 2 piece, but this listing needs to add that in the description for people like me who are so desperate to find a one piece top that they sort've....miss things. I have a 30 year old Modern Aquariums 90 gallon tank. Back when they used thick glass and didn't require a center brace. It had one, but it lasted about a year before it broke out. I've had the tank set up since then with no trouble other than the fact that I can't find a one piece top for it. Oh well, back to the drawing board it seems.

Amazon Customer: Prefect fit for my AQUEON 90 gal aquarium, the aquarium has a lip and built in support beam in the middle and this works with manufactures set up.

Warped_eyeWarped_eye: As you can see in my photo this is not 24 in my aquarium inside edge to inside edge is 23 and 3/4 when I ordered the best I understood it was a two-piece totaling 48x18 meant for a 48 wide tank with a plastic brace in the middle I thought hey so I'll have an extra one for when it gets all covered in calcium and lemon buildup because we have very hard water here well it does not measure 24
however the actual quality of the glass and hardware pieces and packaging were all excellent all I'm saying is don't go by the measurements given this is obviously specifically for tank buy at your own risk

Chris D.: It's a good product , however I'm pretty sure I have a standard 75 g and the glass just barely touched the edges so much in fact that if I am not very delicate when opening and closing the lid the whole thing falls into the tank
