Jaime A Rodriguez: I rated this first as one star. The product worked great for three months , then the manifold started to leak. The leak comes from a hole on the back of the manifold close to the handle. The water will slowly be flowing on your countertop. But now I have change my rate to four, after I found the root cause of the problem. After fixing it the unit has been working really great and the quality of the water is very good.

The leaking problem I had happens when the drain line leading from the faucet to the drain is obstructed. In my case the obstruction was created by debris coming out of the garbage disposal. To defintively resolve the problem I have to connect the drain line far way from the garbage disposal.

The issue of some water coming through the air gap faucet hole is called an “air gap leak”. Search for this to find ideas on how to fix it.

Rob PRob P: We moved to a town where the water smells of chlorine and lots of calcium buildup on dishwasher, faucets, etc. We tried a stand alone filter pitcher for drinking water but it was just a hassle. So I bought this and installed it myself in a couple hours. The instructions were fairly clear and any error I made was my own fault. I cut one of the tubes too short, so I had to go out and buy matching tubing from Lowes. If you do that, be careful to look for the correct PSI rating on the tubing. Err on the high side. There are no instructions for pulling out tubing from the fittings. There is a little collar on the fitting that you have to push in on while your pulling out the tubing. Once you get the hang of it, it's not hard to pull it out. I had to do it a few times. I didn't have a single leak except, once again, for my error - I didn't tighten the connection on the top of the tank properly - one of the few connections that isn't "push to connect". Don't overtighten it, but I didn't even have it snug. Apart from that, no leaks at all. It's only been a week though. VLugets: Ive had it for over 3 month already. The install was easy, but time consuming, plan for a few hours. I had no leaks, but just in case I bought a 5 dollar leak detector alarm. Thank God it wasn’t needed. The flavor of the water is great. The flow of the water is also very good! The reservoir of water is sufficient, we have not ran out of water ever, and we are a family of 7. In the summer the water comes out hot, of course, so we just have a jug of this water always full in the fridge!

Kiran: The media could not be loaded.  I got this product professionally installed. Initially there was a leak but the plumber came out and fixed it. The faucet comes with the product is really bad quality in fact, I would say the overall product is really low grade, soon after it was installed, faucet was making this noise, I thought its just a part of charging it, but it wouldnt stop, after I took 2-3 glasses of water, it would start making the same noise for couple of hours before its stopped. So I called customer care, they said because I didnt purge the system for 24 hours. So I did, for one whole day I left the faucet on, but after that purge, water stopped completely, even if the faucet is completely open and the inlet supply is on. Eric E: Initially the base of the faucet leaked endlessly. I ended up figuring this out. The base of the faucet is an "air gap". Waste water passes from the smaller red tube up to the base of the faucet and then passes an "air gap" to the larger red tube to be delivered to the drain. This is not made obvious in the installation instructions and I did also not see any mention of this functionality there in. Once I realized this was the implementation then it become apparent that the large red line needs to accommodate the flow of water from the small red line and not offer any resistance to water being dumped in the large red line. To other comments that the large red line needs to travel mostly in a downward direction - or the water will continually drip out the base of the faucet. In my situation I actually have the ability to "air gap" the small red line without the need of the faucet's "air gap" and so removed the red lines from the faucet base and delivered the small red line to my own "air gap". I don't care for saddle connections and am happy I did not have to attach the saddle connection to the drain pipe.
