Sarah: Bought this kit in June for my son's birthday in July. It's now December and it works fantastically. Its basic, so you will have to get other accessories, but it was a great value for what was included. Just be prepared to make other purchases such as a heater, an air pump (the filter doesn't make enough bubbles to really oxygenate the water) and of course, decor. No sign of leaks even after being moved when full. Silicon is holding strong.

Dustin Hydo: like the lid led is awesome bright idea nice and flat but should be easier to slide and remove it if nessarry that and its aquiriums contains water if it breaks better be ready to catch fish with net.

Ashley: I bought this setup 2 months ago to use as a saltwater quarantine system for new fish. I had 2 small fish in there at the time of the incident.

I woke up a couple days ago and heard this awful sound coming from my fish room. I go in and there's only two inches of water in the tank and the sound was the filter running dry. The water had dropped so low that it was below the pump and the heater, so the fish weren't getting any air and the temp was 12 degrees below what it should have been.

By some miracle, both fish survived and I quickly moved them to my main tank. The bad news was that they hadn't finished being quarantined so moving them early was a risk to my other fish. Luckily my floor is all tile, if I'd had carpet it would have been an even bigger disaster.

Obviously I can't recommend this tank to anyone. It's not worth the risk.
